Fangbone!

Fangbone adventures is a great show. Funny, bizarre and have clever jokes.

If you know the Barbarian HQ universe, Heavy Metal, you will be crazy about this cartoon.

Like Conan, The Barbarian and Groo, Fangbone is the barbarian of the new generation.

My kids and I were surprised that Fangbone didn't have higher ratings on IMDB - which is why I'm pitching in my positive review. Unlike many countless template cartoons, Fangbone is genuinely left-field. It's admittedly very silly at times but overall the humour is slick and cynical, written to appeal to adults as well as kids. The character of Fangbone is cleverly set up to be totally unfamiliar with modern, western life (he's a barbarian warrior kid from another dimension) and he's highly skeptical of its soft comfortable values. From that stems a lot of the humour which, for my family, was hilarious.

Such a funny original series. My kids absolutely love it and watch it over and over. Such a shame it only got one series on Netflix. Feels like shows like this can just get lost in the Forrest of options that is Netflix. Bring it back!

I started watching this show with no many expectations, but what began as a non-sense comedy show, turned into a well character development series. Both Fangbone and Bill learn a lot from each other, sharing knowledge and experience from their world. As Bill starts learning facing his fears, Fangobone, who starts being a brute who hates affection, starts to appreciate the earth and how humans get together to fight problems. Also the friendship between this characters is stronger every episode and the love (always shown with many hugs) that these friends feel for each other make them cuter. So "Fangbone" is living prove you can be both tender and rude.

This was a good series, very fun to watch. The plot and characters were very entertaining.

While it was unfairly compared with Star vs the Forces of Evil, in some aspects it was even better.

Deserved a second season.
