I've watched the movie because i have always believed there is more than us here or come here etc. The time line of when this happen and what i saw about this same time and when i saw some of the pics of the flying objects i couldn't believe what i saw they were the exact thing or so darn close it scared me. I went to work working nights one evening i headed down the highway around 11pm heading to the hospital on ft stewart where i worked night shift I had 14 plus military years 3 honerable discharges known many Military personnel and have seen much but what i saw on my way to work was not something that happens as i was driving i saw far off to my left toward the ocean there was a low light in the sky i always look because to verify if a plane by a blinking light there was none just bright lights it was heading west by the time i crossed the highway 80 and headed south toward I -16 this craft had turned and there was several open fields between me and the highway and some small tree lines. All of a sudden this air craft appeared and it was just over the tree line, iam so curious hanging out my window and looking i could see the complete bottom and nothing but lights and the biggest thing that amazed me there was no sound if i could be put to sleep i could give a complete discrption of this craft only wishing i could of got pics by the time i hit the over pass to I-16 it turned and headed back out east toward the ocean and disappeared got to work shooken asking everyone on the military base i knew if there was anything we had that could do this and have no sound ever. The answer was NO and this was at the same year and time all this went down
I'm a UFO fanatic, so I went into this movie with a certain amount of joy to see something different. Granted, I didn't have high expectations, after all, we know that horror and faux-documentary movies are not usually very good, however, the execution of this one was much better than I expected. With a good budget and use of camera techniques, the creators managed to create a film that, despite not being a marvel of special effects, contains well-designed scenes with good entertainment value.
The script is a bit heavy-handed, leaving much to be desired, but it manages to establish certain real-life connections with fictional events in a good way, creating a sort of historical universe within its own limits. The characters are, for the most part, typical cliché examples of movies of this type, but I've seen worse so I cut them some slack. The performances are decent, not the best, but what else can we expect?
Probably what I hated the most was the idiotic subplot about the alien-crazy guy. I found it unnecessary, cliche, redundant and even a bit cringe-worthy, mainly because it didn't add anything interesting to the scene and only served as a sort of punching bag of mysteries.
In the end, it's a short, entertaining movie that manages to combine real scenes with cinematic scenes and creates a somewhat interesting conspiracy story, which although affected by its delirious script and half-developed characters, manages to entertain for 1 hour and 20 minutes without major complaints. Also, the aliens and the development of the scenes is entertaining, as well as the multiple scenes from the POV of the military. It's worth it if you like the genre and feel like killing time.

I really had high hopes for this movie as I had just watched Phoenix Forgotten and I thought maybe this would be as interesting or even better... But it's not even close. There are too many technical errors and storytelling errors to enjoy it.
Things that I found were wrong with this movie:
-The classic footage is not 4:3 and the aging effect is not realistic -The characters aren't interesting -While filming the Phoenix Lights they suddenly start filming themselves instead of the UFO sighting. Who would actually do that? -The aliens are bad CGI and look like the xenomorph from the 'Alien' movies -The news channels have names that don't make sense, very unconvincing -There are too many camera angles. Also too many cameras in Gayson's place. Why does he have all those security cameras? Also it's 1997! -Gayson's theories and everything he says doesn't fit the movie. There is some Heaven's Gate mixed in ("recycling the Earth", the bunk beds in his compound, the portrait of the Alien is the exact same that 'Do' from Heaven's Gate had and don't look anything like the aliens in the movie) and it all doesn't fit the movie because the aliens aren't even trying to get them alive, they for no reason seem to kill them and then take them, and they are not stealthy at all at doing it. -One of the guys shuts the trunk in a hurry and leaves a camera in the trunk?
There are so many things in this movie that don't make any sense. If you're gonna watch a found footage Phoenix Lights movie, watch the 2017 Phoenix Forgotten. It's way more enjoyable and has character development.

I'll begin by saying that I love found footage movies, although most of them are quite disappointing at some point. However, there's fairly good examples of this genre, such as The Phoenix Incident.
As the title denotes, this film is based on the Phoenix Lights, the biggest UFO sighting in the USA that took place in 1997. I am a fan of the sighting myself, so when I learned what this movie was about I just had to watch it. It was a pleasant surprise! I love how they mixed the real story, with real footage and real news coverage with the fictional story, which is about the disappearance of four men the exact same night the Phoenix Lights took place.
The faux documentary (mockumentary) stile really suits this movie because it kind of makes it feel like it actually happened and we are watching real footage of an alien encounter. Towards the end of the film everything gets a little too repetitive, and for someone who has already seen plenty of found footage movies, this one offers nothing new to the genre. That's why I give it a 6 out of 10. The acting is good though, the special effects are really well worked and the music helps the atmosphere! I don't know, I really liked this movie and I totally recommend it to anyone who's interested either in UFO related stuff or found footage films!

I liked how they mixed the truth and fiction and made a mock-Doc.🤷♂️
Slow at first with some good visuals. 🙄
FF movies are usually lame rubbish such as , even from the get go of Blair witch what started the popularity of the style.
I remember the incident this was a good watch. Ish 👍

- QuizDuring production of the movie, the film makers were contacted by the U.S. Department of Justice regarding one of the film's viral websites. Due to the perceived authenticity of the site, the DOJ threatened imprisonment and substantial federal fines, believing the website infringed on the department's likeness to locate the missing men from the film. After several tense days of legal negotiation between the production's attorneys and the Justice Department, the site was reinstated and continues to serve the motion picture.
