John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, and Michael Palin are the surviving members of Monty Python. According to them, they need the money to pay for lawyers in a long-running lawsuit. They put on ten shows at the O2 arena in London. This is mostly the behind-the-scenes material as the guys discuss the shows and other stuff. There are glimpses of the actual stage show. It is interesting that this isn't the standard concert film. The guys are riffing off of their greatest hits with some updates. The show would be fine, but it's more about watching these old geezers working together.

An exquisitely joyful romp down memory lane for the wrinkled old Pythons as they come together for one last hurrah at London's O2 Arena. This is a cross between a historical documentary, with interviews and archive footage, and a behind-the scenes documentary about the making of the O2 show. It gives a good insight into the men behind the myth, and celebrates the highs and lows of an extraordinary four-decade parnership. It left me wanting more. Delightful, funny, and moving.

Huge impact since catching as a (bemused) youth in 1970s.
Well-done. Salute, gentlemen. Anything else would be redundant.
