Through the healing of old timers, a brave compassion for the youth, confronts their internal conflicts. We literally feel the agonizing decisions growing up in this side of LA. The performances are so moving that you realize these are rising stars!

I never thought this movie would teach me about the emotional conflicts in my son and how his self esteem needs more tender care than I knew. It's quite humbling and beautiful.

I don't remember seeing another film that takes such an eye-opening deep dive into this aspect of our society. At the end of this film, you will realize that you are dealing with a part of it that feels acutely disenfranchised and disillusioned - creating a separate world with its own rules is an attempt to regain lost power.
