Finally, ''greek weird wave'' is back
9/10. One of the best "greek weird wave" films since dogtooth (lanthimos, 2009) and miss violence (avranas, 2013). Zois in his second more mature feauture, manages to make a powerful cinematic tale about the living and the dead, managing to make this through a convincing script and exceptionally solid direction (powerful leitmotifs, music is crucial in the film's storyline), which does not become rediculous (can be really easy considering the movie's budget. It is mostly saved from the superb performances and flawless script). A greek movie you should not miss which is rare to say. Zois became an important greek (and universal) synchronous filmmaker with this one.
