Eileen Fulton, the minister’s daughter who spent the better part of 50 years portraying Lisa Miller, one of the first “bad girls” of daytime television, on the CBS soap opera As the World Turns, has died. She was 91.

Fulton died Monday in Asheville, North Carolina, after “a period of declining health,” her family announced.

Four years into the run of As the World Turns, Fulton joined the No. 1 daytime drama in 1960 for what was originally supposed to be a three-month summer storyline. She exited the soap three times — once to headline her own primetime spinoff, 1965’s Our Private World — but continued on through the final episode broadcast Sept. 17, 2010.

Her Lisa had eight husbands, with Nicolas Coster portraying two of them. Three of her marriages ended in divorce, four ended in death and one was annulled. When As the World Turns was done, her character’s full name was Lisa Miller...

Billie Eilish and James Cameron are teaming for some kind of 3D concert film, the singer announced Saturday from the stage during a performance in Manchester, United Kingdom.

“So you may have noticed that there are more cameras than usual in here,” the Grammy-winning singer told the sold-out crowd. “I can’t say much about it, but what I can say is that I’m working on something very, very special with somebody named James Cameron, and it’s going to be in 3D.

Eilish did not give details about the nature of the finished project, but said the “Avatar” director was in attendance at the show. Eilish said her four-show run, with performances between Saturday and Wednesday, would be part of the project.

“So, take that as you will and these four shows here in Manchester, you and me are part of a thing that I am making with him.

Luke Evans is recalling a moment with King Charles.

In his 2025 memoir, Boy from the Valleys: My Unexpected Journey, the 46-year-old actor wrote about being invited to a Prince’s Trust gala dinner at The Savoy Hotel in London in 2014.

Luke had been named an ambassador for the charity, which is now called the King’s Trust, founded by the now King in 1976 to support disadvantaged youth in the United Kingdom.

The Late Show With Stephen Colbert has been controversially cancelled, and now the Writers Guild of America calling for Paramount to be investigated for bribery by the New York state attorney general.

The labor union expressed “significant concerns” that the cancellation may have been done to bribe president Donald Trump into sanctioning Paramount’s pending acquisition by Skydance.

Stephen Colbert frequently criticizes Trump on the show, and referred to Paramount’s recent $16 million settlement with the president as “a big fat bribe” days before the cancellation.

The WGA noted that the company could be “sacrificing free speech to curry favor with the Trump Administration.”

Eileen Fulton has passed away.

The late actress, best known for her longtime starring role as Lisa Grimaldi on the soap opera As the World Turns, died earlier this month at the age of 91 years old.

Eileen‘s family announced she passed away on July 14th in Asheville, North Carolina, in an obituary, via Deadline, after “a period of declining health.”

If you didn’t know, Eileen was known as the first bad girl of daytime television, portraying Lisa from May 1960 through September 2010!

The character was originally developed as a nice girl for Lois Smith.

In 1998, she was inducted into the Soap Opera Hall of Fame and in 2004, she received a Daytime Emmy Lifetime Achievement Award, for her portrayal on the long-running soap.

Eileen is survived by her brother, Charles Furman McLarty, niece Katherine Morris and their children, as well as sister-in-law Chris Page McLarty.
