- A German Shepherd and Rottweiler/Golden mix, Gablu was a stray puppy, born in the cruel streets of Houston, found with broken nose and cut chest, terrified of humans. He was barely 6 weeks old.
- He was only 3 months old when he started going to the set with his parents, his first film being 'Sex, Marriage and Infidelity'. Even though he was just a puppy, he stayed quietly observing setting up and performances, quickly learning the command 'Quiet on Set' and communicating with his mom Trisha Ray only when he heard 'Cut!'.
- Although his mom was paranoid about how he will get along with his co-star Mahie Gill, as soon as they met, they bonded so well, that Mahie babysat him during the entire outdoor shoot of 'Orphan Train' in different parts of Texas, while Gablu's mom Trisha Ray was busy directing them, and dad San Banarje was busy acting as the villain in the same film.
- Gablu understands every single word spoken in English, and Bengali, and about 70% words in Spanish.
- Gablu was born in July 2013 on the streets of Houston and was only 6 weeks, when he was picked up from the shelter by his parents San Banarje and Trisha Ray. He had an injured nose at that age, from the cruelty he endured as a puppy. He is completely a mama's boy and his mom is absolutely non-functional without him.
- DNA results show Gablu to be a mix of German Shepherd, Rottweiler, and Golden Retriever.
- Gablu has traveled to several places, wherever his parents go for filming or holidays, and loves car rides.
- It's because of Gablu that San and Trisha learned about the massive animal problem in Texas, and started fostering and rescuing strays and high kill shelter dogs. Gablu now has a kittie brother Mr. Kittykat Banarje and two foster failed siblings Luna Banarje and Strider Banarje.
