LoCascio's 2017 Documentary "Ed of Brooklyn" Won Best Documentary Film from the international Canadian film festival Creation International Film Festival. The film includes several extensive animated sequences that were hand drawn by LoCascio himself.

LoCascio's short film "A Thin Layer of Ice" was an official selection of the Screen Actors Guild Short Film Showcase in 2013 and premiered Tuesday June 25th. Only 7 films were chosen out of roughly 500-1000 submissions and LoCascio spoke to over 500 members of their union about the film.

Three short films Jamison LoCascio directed were selected to be part of the Festival de Cannes: Short Film Corner "Track 3 (2014)," "A Stranger's Confession (2014)," "Powerless (2017).".

Director Jamison LoCascio's feature film "the Depths" won Best Dramatic Feature at the 2017 Manhattan Film Festival and his feature film "Sunset" won Best Dramatic Feature Film again the following year at the 2018 Manhattan Film Festival. In 2018, LoCascio also won the Best Short Thriller Award for directing "Power(less)." The competition was among some 150 films during both years.

In 2020, Jamison LoCascio co-founded Film Valor, a film production company.
