Having a degree in Anthropology with a concentration in Tribal Religions and Tribal Warfare, used his Master's thesis to publish a book on dream journeying in the Native American tradition along with analysis of past life regression techniques in relation to the human psyche. Alex's Native American roots tie him closely to the warrior traditions of South and North America under his birth father who is Kañari (Quichua) and his adopted father who is Mescalero Apache. These same traditions influenced much of what is now current Special Forces doctrine and operating procedure.
