America’S Got Talent — “Auditions” Episode 2005 — Pictured: Duo Stardust — (Photo by: Trae Patton/NBC) Last night’s America’s Got Talent Auditions 5 was a wild ride, with Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara, and a gloriously returning Mel B. back on the judging panel. Our ever-charming host, Terry Crews, kept the golden buzzers polished and ready for action. Speaking of which, yes, Golden Buzzers are still a thing, with each judge and Terry having two to send acts straight to the Live Shows. Ten lucky acts will bypass the drama! We kicked things off with King Moore, a 9-year-old rapper who apparently started rhyming in first grade. This kid’s got more swag than most adults, confidently spitting out his self-penned tunes. Disney, are you listening? The judges were all in, giving him four big yeses. Next up, Alain Simonov, a Brazilian magician, brought some “emo magic” with multiplying and floating paper.

Season 2 of USA Network’s Shooter will be “bigger” and “faster,” put the Swagger marriage to the test, continue Bob Lee’s frenemyship with Isaac and force Memphis into an odd alliance — all while landing the heroes in the literal cross hairs of Bob Lee’s No. 1 rival.

Initially postponed one week in light of the Dallas sniper attack – from July 19 to July 26 – USA Network has now opted to push Shooter all the way to fall, claiming it is simply “not the right time” for the spinoff series.

USA made the decision soon after the fatal shooting of three police officers in Baton Rogue this past weekend, with an official statement revealing that, “after further consideration, USA Network, Paramount TV and Universal Cable Productions have decided to move the premiere of Shooter to the fall.” No premiere date was disclosed at the time of writing.

Thrusting Ryan Phillippe into the role of ex-Marine Bob Lee Swagger, Shooter chronicles his journey out of a self-imposed exile “by his former commanding officer and now top Secret Service agent Isaac Johnson (Omar Epps),” with the nation gripped by an assassination threat against the President of the United States.

USA Network announced a series pick-up for "Shooter," a drama based on the best-selling Bob Lee Swagger novel by Stephen Hunter, "Point of Impact," and the 2007 Paramount film starring Mark Wahlberg. Ryan Phillippe is a producer on the project and will star as Bob Lee Swagger, an expert marksman living in exile who is coaxed back into action after learning of a plot to kill the president. Omar Epps co-stars alongside Phillippe, playing Isaac Johnson, an ex-Marine and former commanding officer of Swagger who is now a Secret Service Agent in need of Swagger's expertise for a clandestine operation that has disastrous results.
