Exclusive: Quiver Distribution has acquired Martin Guigui’s Drama Drama, with plans to release the teen musical on digital and VOD June 1.

The film, scripted by Guigui and Brian Lukow, centers on five unlikely friends who are called upon to lead an anti-bullying initiative at their high school, teaming up to form a pop music group with a socially conscious message.

Starring in the coming-of-age pic, which features a set of 14 original songs, are newcomers Michelle DeFraites, Ana Golja, Zonta (Breaking Legs), Carlye Tamaren (Golden Boy) and Amelia DeMilo.

Pic is produced by All For One Media, Sprockefeller Pictures and Sunset Pictures. Executive producers include Brian Gold, Ryan R. Johnson and Martin Sprock.

Originally released in 2018, as far as I know All The Creatures Were Stirring is the second ever Christmas horror anthology movie, with the first being the highly entertaining A Christmas Horror Story.

This one has five segments and one encompassing segment which begins and ends the film as well as linking each other segment. In this we see a man and woman who are kind of on a date at a local theatre. They meet outside and once inside are introduced to a couple of strange characters until they are eventually seated to watch the show. The first part of the show then leads into the opening segment The Stockings Are Hung.

Less than a year after Gva Talent, Defining Artists, David Shapira & Associates merged to form Concept Talent Group, Dede Binder, who had been a Partner and Owner of Defining Artists since 2003, has left Concept along with Gwenn Pepper, formerly of Gva. The two have partnered to relaunch Defining Artists as a boutique talent agency for film and TV actors. It is located on Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood.

Binder brings to their banner clients Judd Nelson, Joely Fisher, Christina Moses, Ryan Dorsey, Michelle DeFraites (The Quad), Alex Fernandez among others. “The Quad” has been canceled at Bet less than a week after the show’s second season finale, a spokesperson for the network confirmed to Variety.

Anika Noni Rose starred in the drama series as Dr. Eva Fletcher, the new president of the fictional Georgia A&M University. The historically black college struggled in Season 2, with Fletcher struggling to raise money for the nearly bankrupt institution. If she failed, the school would be forced to join Georgia’s largest, public and predominantly white university in order to keep its doors open.

In addition to Rose, the series stars Ruben Santiago-Hudson as Cecil Diamond, Peyton Alex Smith as Cedric Hobbs, Jazz Raycole as Sydney Fletcher, Zoe Renee as Noni Williams, Jake Allyn as Bojohn Folsom, Michelle DeFraites as Madison Kelly, and Sean Blakemore as Coach Eugene Hardwick. The series was created by Felicia D. Henderson and Rob Hardy, who served as executive producers.

Bet is staying in school. The Quad TV show has been renewed for a second season on Bet. The sophomore season of The Quad will consist of ten hour-long episodes. The drama series, starring Anika Noni Rose, is set at Georgia A&M, a (fictional) university.The first season of The Quad centers on Eva Fletcher (Rose), in her first year as President of the Hbcu (Historically Black Colleges and Universities), her administration, and the incoming freshman class. Paramount Pictures has released five TV spots for the upcoming sci-fi thriller Project Almanac, arriving in theaters nationwide January 30. The story centers on a brilliant high school student and his friends uncover blueprints for a mysterious device with limitless potential, inadvertently putting lives in danger. The TV spots come just a few months after the new trailer debuted in November.

The thriller stars Sofia Black-d'Elia, Ginny Gardner, Jonny Weston, Amy Landecker, Katie Garfield, Cameron Corwin Fuller, Alexandra Bartee, Sam Lerner, Gary Grubbs and Michelle DeFraites. The film was originally slated to debut this past February, before being bumped to late January 2015, when the project was known as Welcome to Yesterday. Michael Bay produces Project Almanac through his Platinum Dunes production company.

Remember the Michael Bay produced time travel thriller 'Almanac'? Well the project is now in post-production and the first look trailer has materialised...oh and it's now known as 'Welcome to Yesterday'. The found footage sci-fi thriller revolves around a group of teens who embark on an adventure when they discover secret plans to build a time machine. Of course all the usual time travel trappings and dangers become apparent as the teens op back and forth. 'Welcome to Yesterday' stars Jonny Weston ('John Dies at the End'), Sofia Black D'Elia ('Skins'), Amy Landecker, Michelle DeFraites, Ginny Gardner and Sam Lerner all star.
