Amaka Okafor(I)

Made her Edinburgh Fringe début but playing Carmel in Guy Masterson's production of "The State We're In" (written by Zia Trench, directed by Justin Butcher). The play is based on Brian Haw who has been sitting in Parliament Square, opposite the Houses of Parliament, London since June 2001. "He protests on behalf of those innocent people who suffer and die in other countries, as our governments seek to further their own economic, military, political and strategic interests around the world."
