When Isidora Goreshter auditioned for the role of Svetlana in 2013, it was intended to be a minor recurring character, but they made her a series regular in 2016.

Isidora Goreshter's family is originally from the former Soviet Union. She is the first of her family to be born in the United States.

Isidora Goreshter, who plays Svetlana, was a champion gymnast as a child in Long Beach, California.

Isidora Goreshter studied acting at the Stella Adler Conservatory in Los Angeles, California, whose alumni include Salma Hayek, Mark Ruffalo and Benicio Del Toro.

Isidora Goreshter (Svetlana) has degrees in Art History and Theater from Long Beach State University.
