This past weekend indie filmmaker Eric England (Madison County) celebrated the world premiere of his latest directorial endeavor, the Hitchcockian thriller Roadside, at the first-ever CineMayhem Film Fest in Thousand Oaks.

The flick stars Ace Marrero, Katie Stegeman, Jack E. Curenton, Lionel D. Carson, and Marshall Yates.

Before Roadside hit the big screen, England and company shared with those in attendance a quick behind-the-scenes look at what went into making the micro-budgeted affair, and we thought what better way to close out the first full week of Indie Horror Month than sharing the video with you fiends.

Check out Dread Central's online premiere of Roadside's Bts video, and look for more on the flick soon now that it's hit the festival circuit for 2013.

We are pleased to exclusively debut the first trailer for Roadside, the second feature from writer-director Eric England (Madison County). Ace Marrero and Katie Stegeman star in this thriller as Dan and Mindy, a married couple who find themselves trapped on a mountain road and terrorized by a sharpshooter. The film does not have a distributor as of yet, but we'll keep you posted as soon as we have any details regarding Roadside's release. You can also take a look at the first poster and five photos that debuted in May.

Roadside comes to theaters in 2012 and stars Ace Marrero, Katie Stegeman, Lionel D. Carson, Marshall Yates, Alan Pietruszewski, Erin Stegeman. The film is directed by Eric England.

Welcome to Madison County, where the locals love to glare at you and the air is thick with tension.

A group of college kids have just arrived, one among them planning to interview the author of a controversial book that details the disturbing history of local serial killer Damien who killed around 33 people.

“You kids best be getting out of here while you still can” a hostile local grumbles at one point. “He’ll be getting wind of you soon”.

What’s a backwoods horror film without a terrific ominous warning, wonderfully delivered here by actor Marshall Yates. It’s a great little moment that sets the stage for the brutal horror to come.

As always, one of the best places to go for some of the coolest horror events is Dark Delicacies. This Tuesday, May 8, they've got another big event, a DVD signing featuring the cast and crew from Madison County.

Fans are welcome to come and meet the stars and filmmakers of Madison County at Dark Delicacies bookstore on May 8 at 7pm to coincide with the DVD release of the film. Dark Delicacies is located in Burbank, CA at 3512 W. Magnolia Boulevard. Included in the event will be the film's star/producer Ace Marrero (Kyle); producer Daniel Dunn; stars Matt Mercer (Will), Natalie Scheetz (Jenna), Joanna Sotomura (Brooke) and Marshall Yates (man with knife)
