Sirat (2025) at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival] All my films are complicated and ask for a lot of production. You have to keep thinking about how you can produce, how to shoot a film in a fire, in real fires or how you can shoot scenes at a rave party. What was riskiest in this project was the project per se - the actual proposal of the film. You've seen the film - it's a very risky one. We don't respect the laws of genre and other non-written laws of what you can and can't do in cinema. I'm very pleased. I don't know whether people will like or dislike the film, but I'm very pleased with the actual gesture. I think we were very bold, we were very daring, we didn't measure things, we didn't calculate, we just leapt into the abyss. And I'm very proud of us and our attitude.
