Meta is under scrutiny after Reuters revealed that its AI chatbots used the names and images of celebrities, including Taylor Swift, Scarlett Johansson, Anne Hathaway, and Selena Gomez, without permission.

The chatbots were described as “flirty” and often made sexual advances toward users. Some adult bots even generated photorealistic sexualized images of the celebrities.

Worse, the report found that Meta allowed users to create chatbots of underage stars, including 16-year-old Walker Scobell. In one test, a bot produced a lifelike shirtless image of the teen.

These digital avatars were available on Meta’s Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp platforms, and in testing, many of the bots insisted they were the real celebrities.

Meta has come under fire after a Reuters investigation revealed that its AI chatbots of celebrities, including Taylor Swift, Scarlett Johansson, Anne Hathaway, and Selena Gomez, were often “flirty” and made sexual advances.

Some of the bots even produced photorealistic images of the celebrities in lingerie or in compromising poses when users requested “intimate pictures,” according to the report.

Five Finger Death Punch‘s Zoltan Bathory has expanded his jiu-jitsu league, the Professional Grappling Federation (Pgf), with a larger broadcast footprint and the addition of a third team, the Philadelphia Phenoms, with the hopes of turning the martial art into a major league sport.

Bathory and his Pgf co-owners Brandon McCaghren, Heather Grace Gracie, and Keelan Lawyer announced the news via a press release on Thursday (August 28th). The Phenoms become the third team in the Pgf (alongside the New Hope Kings and the Alabama Twisters) following a seven-figure franchise sale to entrepreneur and jiu-jitsu competitor/community advocate Lauren Barone, who makes history as the Pgf’s first female team owner.

A 2016 interview clip has resurfaced featuring Travis Kelce playing “Marry, Kiss, Kill” on Afterbuzz TV, where the Kansas City Chiefs tight end made some interesting choices involving three pop stars. When presented with Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, and Ariana Grande as his options, Kelce took a moment to consider before making his decision.

The NFL star said he would reluctantly “kill” Ariana Grande, explaining it was the hardest choice. He then decided he would “kiss” Taylor Swift. Finally, Kelce chose to “marry” Katy Perry.

“Dancing With the Stars” Season 34 is ready to be bejeweled. Jan Ravnik, best known as one of the dancers on Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, has joined the ABC competition show as a pro for the upcoming season.

Ravnik was one of the 16 dancers to kick off the massive tour in Glendale, Arizona, in 2023. During one of the Paris shows, he was part of a dance duet with Swift on stage during “Fortnight,” and was largely featured in the “Eras Tour” movie.

He also previously appeared on the 97th Academy Awards and “Mariah Carey Christmas: The Magic Continues,” and has performed with artists including Paula Abdul, Mariah Carey and Bruno Mars.

The full cast for Season 34 will be announced on Sept. 3, but it’s already been revealed that wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin, content creator Alix Earle, and “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” stars Jen Affleck and Whitney Leavitt are set to compete.

A 16-year-old Syrian national involved in a failed 2024 terror plot targeting Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour” concert in Vienna has been convicted in Germany and handed an 18-month suspended sentence under juvenile criminal law, according to the BBC.

Prosecutors say the individual, identified as Mohamed A., was radicalized by Islamic State propaganda on the internet and, at 14 years old, helped a would-be attacker by translating bomb-making instructions from Arabic and putting him in contact with an Is member.
