The story follows Irving (played with haunting vulnerability by Lisa Jacqueline Starrett), a woman hiking solo along the Pacific Crest Trail who suffers a devastating injury. Unable to walk and with no immediate help in sight, her situation is grim from the outset. But this isn’t just a tale of physical survival...

From director Aimee Kuge, the indie horror film Cannibal Mukbang puts a horror movie twist on the mukbang trend, and it’s now available on VOD from Jackrabbit Media.

In the new horror movie, “Shy and looking for love, Mark quickly becomes smitten with the outgoing and mysterious Ash, who somehow, much to his surprise, reciprocates the attraction. But as his feelings for her intensify, so does his unexpected submersion into Ash’s biggest love: the wild world of mukbanging. And with it, lots of bloodshed.”

April Consalo, Nate Wise, and Clay Von Carlowitz star in Cannibal Mukbang.

Releasing later this month from One Tree Entertainment is the survival thriller To Die Alone, and Coming Soon has exclusively debuted the trailer this week. Give it a watch below.

"You're not the only one going through something." Freestyle Digital Media has released an official trailer for an indie romantic drama titled You & Me, which premiered at the Cinequest Film Festival earlier this year. The intimate, honest film is about a deaf woman who meets a man who has recently gone blind, and they slowly begin to fall for each other while struggling with daily life. This is one of the first films to star disabled actors in both leading roles - Hillary Baack as Ella, and Paul Guyet as Tony. It's described as a "funny and moving love story about life’s universal challenges and joys." Also starring Brendan O'Malley, Natasha Ofili, Sally Struthers, Bill A. Jones, and James Tang.
