Norse mythology is rife with creatures that could easily be featured in their own films. Such is the case with the following short Draugar from director Paul Cotrulia and producer/writer Timothy Scott of Event Films.
So what is a Draugar, you ask? In Viking mythology a draugr is the reanimated corpse of a dead Viking who has supernatural powers of growth, strength and the ability to drive his victims insane. They revel in the suffering of the living as they also envy the living. Draugar is the plural of Draugr, and from what we are gathering, there look to be many of these creatures populating this upcoming film.
