Lawrence started his career by filming, editing and directing 5 Snowboard Movies.

Lawrence Roeck worked with both Clint and Scott Eastwood on separate projects. Clint's was a documentary and Scott's was one of his first lead roles in a movie.

One of the first directors to fly drones on his own movie. Lawrence was also an early adopter of using snowmobiles for filming backcountry snowboarding.
