Lawrence directed a TV show pilot backed named "Lucky Punks" with Dina Eastwood and the vocal group Overtone while they were living at Clint Eastwood's residence in Los Angeles performing for the soundtrack of the movie Invictus.

Lawrence Roeck has a level 1 Certificate in Avalanche Training from the Canadian Avalanche Society.

He began his career as a filmmaker upon graduating from High School in 1991 when he purchased a camera to take shots of his friends skateboarding and snowboarding. Two years later he was producing internationally distributed skateboard and snowboard films under the name RPG Films.

His movie "The Forger" is inspired by his childhood growing up in Carmel-by-the-Sea.
