“The concept came right before the pandemic times when I wanted to make a feature and have everyone in the Long Beach film makers club to shoot a story that would fit into an anthology. I wrote the ghost story that became half dead Fred . No one ever did anything so I ended up writing the whole movie. In fact this story takes place the day after Freddy Nash from Half Dead Fred visits the house that was haunted. The single mother Mary-Anne goes to this meeting and has her kids waiting in the car. The Dead Rose stars Vernon Wells (Mad Max 2), Oscar nominee Eric Roberts (The Pope of Greenich Village), Cooper Huckabee (Space Cowboys), Richard Tyson (Kindergarten Cop). This film is currently in production in Denver, Colorado and Los Angeles, California.

Jimmy Drain (The Initiation), Rachel Alig (First Blush), Natasha Coppola-Shalom (Last Call), Erika Monet (Night Things), Michael S. Here’s our exclusive first look at the poster for award-winning filmmaker Michael S. Rodriguez’s new horror movie Film Fiend, which stars Oscar nominee & Golden Globe winner Sally Kirkland (Anna), Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp), Dawna Lee Heising (Bad President) and Vida Ghaffari (The Mindy Project).

In the film, Gary Augustyn begins to blur reality with his twisted love of classic horror films and obsession for the late-night horror personality Dara. He begins to stalk her and slowly drags her into his sick web of madness for a deadly game of cat and mouse.

Sparkle Soojian, Erik Anthony Russo, Drew Eash and Debra Dutch round out the cast; and Lee Turner (After Hours Cinema) wrote the script, with Joseph Kelbie Williamson set to produce in conjunction with Rodriguez.
