AMC’s outrageous drama “Preacher” returns for 10 episodes on Sunday, June 24 at 10:00 Pm Et/Pt, and the network just released a fiery new promo raising the curtain on our sinister cast of characters including Jesse, Cassidy, Tulip, Gran’ma, Allfather, God Dog, and many more.

“Preacher,” is a dramatic thrill ride that follows West Texas preacher Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper), his badass ex-girlfriend Tulip (Academy Award® nominee Ruth Negga) and an Irish vampire named Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun) as they embark on a road trip to find God and are thrust into a twisted battle spanning Heaven, Hell and everywhere in between.

Preacher has some new company. Recently, AMC announced Betty Buckley (pictured), Colin Cunningham, Jeremy Childs, and Liz McGeever have joined the TV series' third season.Based on the comic book by Garth Ennis and Steven Dillon, the supernatural drama follows West Texas preacher Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper), along with his badass ex-girlfriend Tulip (Ruth Negga) and Irish vampire Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun) as they take off on a road trip to find God. Blood Drive emcee Colin Cunningham is set to join the third season of AMC’s dark drama Preacher.

The actor, whose TV credits also include Falling Skies, will play Gran’ma’s (played by Betty Buckley) caretaker Tc, according to Deadline. Cunningham joins the Season 3 cast along with Buckley (Eight Is Enough), Jeremy Childs (Nashville) and Liz McGeever in recurring roles.

Preacher was renewed back in October, to premiere sometime in 2018.

Preacher season 3 is now in production. The show, starring Dominic Cooper as preacher-turned-criminal Jesse Custer, Ruth Negga as the outlaw Tulip, and Joseph Gilgun as the Irish vampire Cassidy, is currently filming stateside.

Together, they're all still on a road trip across the United States to find God, who's gone missing from Heaven, and last season saw the trio leave their West Texas town, which was completely destroyed, and travel to New Orleans, the last known whereabouts of God, who happened to be a really big fan of jazz. Last year actress Jane Clark made her feature directorial debut with Meth Head, which she follows up this year with the slasher flick Crazy Bitches. On tap for you today is the trailer for the horror comedy ahead of its premiere at next month's Outfest Film Festival. Dig it!

Written and directed by Jane Clark, the film stars Samantha Colburn, Cathy DeBuono, Andy Gala, Liz McGeever, Victoria Profeta, and Guinevere Turner.

Synopsis

Eight "crazy bitches" reunite for a weekend of gossip and girl-talk at a remote cabin in the woods. A few drinks into their weekend, they learn of a gruesome crime that occurred at their campsite. Dismissing it as a tall tale, the gang continues its celebration with red wine, hanky-panky, and cat-fights – until one of them disappears. As the fun-filled holiday turns into a race against death, the girls turn both to and on each other.

That’s the premise of this slasher horror-comedy with the pull-no-punches title of Crazy Bitches.

Written and directed by Jane Clark (who previously made the gritty, Lukas Haas drug drama Meth Head), the indie film is set for a debut at the Lgbt festivals Frameline (June 26) and OutFest (July 17).

The story tracks a reunion of former sorority sisters and their “one fab gay guy” friend as they head out for a getaway in a prototypical cabin in the woods.

During Eugene’s desperate attempts to dig himself out, he discovers he’s not alone.”

Great atmosphere in this movie trailer. This seems like a high-grade possession film, even more so than The Devil Inside, The Last Exorcism, and The Rite.
