Following Harlan shockingly killing Sheriff Porter/Clyde/Owen in episode 3, The Waterfront season 1 episode 4 opens with Belle rushing to Harlan's side for damage control. Harlan thought he was having a cardiac event after the murder, but they race to action to stage Owen's death as an accident. They roll him under the car, place a tool in his hand, and drop they car on his head. Harlan "found" him like this.

Lionsgate has revealed a trailer for a noir thriller titled The Minute You Wake Up Dead, another of these mediocre crime films being sent direct-to-vod the same day it opens in theaters. Despite the impressive cast in here, this doesn't look like an interesting film. When a shady small-town stockbroker begins dating a shy waitress, a shocking murder takes place -- and one of them may be responsible. As word leaks out that there's money behind the killing, every criminal in town wants their share of the cash. According to the synopsis, "a bloody showdown leads to a mind-blowing finale." "I'm so tired of being lowered down and mistreated because I'm Black!" 1091 Pics has released an official trailer for an indie American drama titled Through Her Eyes, marking the feature directorial debut of filmmakers Trenton Lumpkin. Set in the 1960s, this seems to be inspired by the story of Ruby Bridges, who was the very first African-American child to desegregate the all-white William Frantz Elementary School in Louisiana during the New Orleans school desegregation crisis on November 14, 1960. Rayven Ferrell stars in the film as Rosalee Winbush, a timid African-American student struggling with her decision to attend a newly integrated school while finding the courage to become the change she desires under extreme racial tensions.
