In the opening scene of Into the Sun a large camp set was built. At the end of the film mink, Steven Seagal and the producers donated the set to an Elephant rehabilitation program to help Asian elephants and their care givers near the Burma border of Thailand.

The first feature he directed was a self financed 90 min feature film shot in the streets of LA on a Santa Monica city bus . The film aptly named "Bus" screened at numerous festivals and got him his first music video assignment with a major artist.

Was cast in the '80s movie Explorers with River Phoenix but couldn't do it due to grade school restrictions.
