Richard was born in Longview Texas, moved to West Texas at 6 months old to Andrews and later Alpine. Living in North Texas since 1969.
Retired Fire Captain after 35 years with the Arlington Texas Fire Department where for a time coordinated the Technical Rescue and Hazardous Materials Response Teams. Certified Gas Well Firefighter and Advanced E.M.T. Also working for the Dallas Cowboys NFL and the Texas Rangers MLB teams providing homeland security related services.
