Asked about his writing process, George said that it involves months of outlining, and telling his story to anyone who will listen, before he writes any actual script. When he finally starts writing a script, he spends only a week or two of actual script-writing before a draft is ready to present. His rewrite process is almost the same as for the draft, and often involves rewriting most of the actual script, which he bases more on the revised outline than on the draft script.
