Netflix’s ‘Perfect Match’ Season 3 Delivers a Stunning Twist and Crowns the Winners
Image
Day 1 love has won! Perfect Match's third season has officially come to an end, and a new couple has been crowned. After a shocking finale that left only five couples in the villa, the winners of Season 3 are Lucy Syed (of Too Hot to Handle) and Daniel Perfetto (of Dated and Related)! Following their early-season connection, the couple was victorious over Ad Smith and Ollie Sutherland. With five couples remaining, only two pairs remained before the final vote. Though not every vote was shown on screen, host Nick Lachey revealed that the majority selected Lucy and Daniel, earning them a trip to Fiji as part of their victory. “I’m very happy to find my perfect match,” Lucy gushed, with Daniel adding, “Super happy. Incredibly happy.”

Before the ultimate reveal, the villa was left in utter shock following the drama surrounding Siesta Key's Juliette Porter's love triangle with...

Perfect Match Season 3: Did Amber Ad Expose a Secret That Could Ruin Lucy’s Match?
Image
In Perfect Match Season 3 Episode 7, a major secret revealed by Amber “Ad” Smith may have changed the course of Lucy and Daniel’s relationship. Perfect Match Season 3 released episodes 7-9 today, and it was no less of a dramatic showdown. During a singles mixer, Daniel participated in a game of truth or dare where he was asked to kiss Olivia’s thigh. When he returned to the villa, he admitted to Lucy that he had kissed Juliette and Olivia in the game.

It was Ad, who was also in the mixer, who spilled the full truth to Lucy. She revealed that Daniel picked her up and kissed Olivia’s thigh. The revelation threw Lucy off, as she had already experienced several ups and downs with Daniel.

After confronting him, Daniel admitted what happened and apologized. Although Lucy was hurt and briefly questioned their connection, she ultimately gave him another chance.

While Elizabeth Tulloch is best known for her recent role as Lois Lane in Superman & Lois on The CW, she was one of the Og cast members of NBC’s Grimm. The supernatural series has certainly seen a resurgence of interest in recent years, and now there are talks of a reboot.

Since the initial news of a Grimm reboot in the works at Peacock, everyone has been silent about it all. However, Tulloch talked with TVLine about the development, and she offers some hopeful updates about it.

Elizabeth Tulloch delivers a promising update for the Grimm reboot
Image
Almost 10 years have passed since Grimm came to an end in 2017 on NBC after six seasons, but as diehard fans know very well, there's a distinct possibility that the series and our favorite characters could return to our screens in the future. After the project was announced to be in development earlier this year, we finally have an "exciting" update from Grimm star Elizabeth Tulloch.

In a recent interview with TV Line, Tulloch shared some exclusive details we hadn't heard yet about the potential Grimm reboot, telling the outlet that a script is still being written and that her costar and real-life husband David Giuntoli met with the creative team behind the in-the-works follow-up. That's the most positive news we have received yet about the next chapter of Grimm.

As Tulloch teased to TV Line, "I know there’s a script being written, and I know that David met with them.

Reboot Of Supernatural’s Best Replacement Gets Encouraging Update From Original Star
Image
Supernatural was a television mainstay for a number of years. Created by Eric Kripke, the series began in 2005 and tells a fantastical story of two brothers who are all fighting supernatural beings, including monsters, demons, and more. The show had a massive following and managed to get through 15 seasons.

Kripke's series was released during a time when fantastical series like that were in style. Six years after Supernatural's debut, Once Upon a Time was released. This catered to a slightly different audience, replacing the Winchesters and their demons with classic fairy tale characters. Still, it showed the persistence of the fantasy genre.

There was another series that came out that same year, 2011, with fairy tale and dark fantasy elements. This series worked these supernatural elements into a cop drama. Now, one of that show's main stars speaks about a reboot project.

Sci-Fi’s New Era Belongs to Women — And It’s About Time
Image
Science fiction has always asked us to imagine the future. But for decades, that imagined future rarely featured women in charge.

Certainly, there were exceptions, notably the iconic ones, such as Ellen Ripley in Alien or Sarah Connor in The Terminator. They were tough, smart, and unforgettable. But they stood out because they were the exception, not the rule.

That’s finally starting to change. We’re no longer surprised to see women leading sci-fi series. In fact, we’ve started to expect it. And frankly, it’s making the genre better.

Take the upcoming Alien: Earth series, for example.

Set to debut on FX, it stars Sydney Chandler as Wendy, the latest in a line of women trying to survive in one of the harshest fictional universes ever created.

3 Netflix shows that should have lasted longer than they did
Image
Netflix has given us some unforgettable series over the years, but let’s be honest, the streaming giant also has a frustrating habit of pulling the plug way too early. With all the cancellations, it makes you question whether it’s even worth getting invested in a new show anymore.

Nobody wants to pour time and emotions into a series only to have it end abruptly without closure. You’re left hanging with unanswered questions, unresolved storylines, and a lingering sense of “what could have been.” In this article, we're discussing three Netflix shows that deserved so much more time to develop, grow, and ultimately, last longer than they did.

(L to R) Imani Lewis as Calliope, Sarah Catherine Hook as Juliette in episode 105 of First Kill | Netflix First Kill (2022)

Good news about Silo seasons 3 and 4!
Image
The second season of Apple's post-apocalyptic drama Silo ended with a major revelation that will change the course of the story moving forward. No, it wasn't the reveal that the world outside the siloes was indeed unlivable, nor the reveal that one silo keeps watch over the others. It was the flashback sequence that showed us what things were like before the end of the world. We were introduced to a congressman and journalist meeting in Washington D.C, already planting the seeds of how the silos came to be.

Tim Robbins in Silo season 2. Image: Apple TV+.

Based on the popular book series by Hugh Howey, the first two seasons of Silo mainly followed a character named Juliette, who lives in an underground silo with many other people; they've been down there for generations and have forgotten how they've come to be there, but know that they can't leave for the surface.

Silo Seasons 3 and 4 Receives a Major Production Update
Image
SiloSeasons 3 and 4 are being filmed back to back, and production is on track to the anticipated release dates. A head creative also teased that Season 3 would be easier on the eyes, hinting at significant changes to the show's bleak aesthetic.

Silo Season 3 has finished filming, and production for Season 4 is ramping up. Speaking to ScreenRant, Season 2 cinematographer Baz Irvine also teased that the last two seasons will look different. "I think Silo is a great example of a show where it probably does actually benefit [to have] a new set of eyes and a new Dop come in, just to mark the difference and variation you need from season to season to make a show progress," he explained. Irvine was Season 2's lead director of photography, but exited the project due to health concerns.

"It was such an incredibly long stint, Season 2… so I came in 12 weeks early to do prep," he continued.

Silo Season 4 Gets A Very Promising Filming Update Ahead Of Season 3's Release
Image
Silo season 3 hasn't been released yet on Apple TV+, but there's already an update on the show's upcoming fourth season. A month after Silo season 2 premiered on the streamer, Apple announced that the hit sci-fi show was renewed for seasons 3 and 4. However, Silo season 4 will be the show's last, concluding the dystopian tale based on Hugh Howey's novels. This may be surprising to some, considering how well-received the show has been, especially when looking at Rebecca Ferguson's leading performance among Silo's cast.

Silo season 2's ending bust the door wide open for the future of the Apple TV+ series, with a flashback teasing what disastrous event caused communities to live underground in silo shelters. The finale aired in January 2025, but by then, Silo season 3 was already filming before wrapping up in May 2025. It also looks like the cast and crew aren't wasting any time with the show's final season.

'Horizon 2' Intimacy Coordinator Reveals Details Following Sexual Assault Scene Complaint
Image
The plot is beginning to thicken with the claims of sexual harassment, infliction of emotional distress, and discrimination being alleged by stunt performer Devyn Labella. She has claimed that she endured all of this treatment while working on Horizon: An American Saga - Chapter 2, a film directed by and starring Kevin Costner. As the story continues to unfold, an intimacy coordinator on the project has come forward with a two-page report that adds some validity to Labella's claims.

Per Variety, the intimacy coordinator on Horizon 2, Celeste Chaney, points to several protocols that weren't followed while filming an unscripted rape scene that Labella alleges she was asked to perform without any warning. In the report, Chaney says there were "numerous problems" with the particular scene, most notably that there was no intimacy coordinator present. Chaney also alleges that Labella did not consent to Costner's direction of the scene...

‘Horizon’ Intimacy Coordinator Says “Protocols Were Abandoned” Over Scene With Stunt Woman That Led To Sexual Harassment Suit
Image
The intimacy coordinator who worked on the set of Kevin Costner’s Horizon called the scene at the heart of a stunt woman’s lawsuit against producers and Costner an “unscheduled, unplanned violent rape scene” that “was unexpectedly sprung on the actors and stunt professionals.”

The claims were made by Celeste Chaney, whose inquiry into the incident during the rehearsal of a scene on the set of Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 2 in May 2023 was attached as an exhibit to stunt woman Devyn Labella’s amended complaint filed last week in Los Angeles Superior Court. That’s where she filed her original suit earlier this year alleging she was subject to sexual harassment and while standing in for star Ella Hunt during on the second of Costner’s planned four-movie Western epic.

Chaney detailed in her two-page inquiry report that the scene rehearsal was to include Hunt, who “was...

‘Horizon 2’ Intimacy Coordinator Documented Rape Scene Complaint: ‘Protocols Were Abandoned’
Image
The intimacy coordinator on “Horizon 2” wrote a two-page report documenting lapses in protocols during filming of an unscripted rape scene.

Devyn Labella, a stunt performer, sued Kevin Costner — the director, writer, star, financier and producer of the film — last month, alleging that she was shaken and humiliated after being forced to perform in the scene without warning.

The report, written by Celeste Chaney, cited “numerous problems” with the scene, including that no intimacy coordinator was present, Labella was not given “modesty garments,” and she did not consent to Costner’s impromptu direction.

“She was put ‘on the spot,’ placed in a vulnerable, compromising situation and then asked if she was ‘okay to continue’ with everyone standing by,” Chaney wrote in the report.

Labella sued Costner and the production for sexual harassment, discrimination and infliction of emotional distress. Labella was the stunt performer for Ella Hunt, the actor who portrayed “Juliette” in the film.

A stuntwoman on Kevin Costner's western epic Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 2 is suing the director and star, along with the film's production companies, for sexual discrimination, harassment and the creation of a hostile work environment over an alleged unscripted rape scene she was subjected to during filming in May 2023. According to the lawsuit, Devyn Labella, the lead stunt double for Ella Hunt, had to step in when Costner improvised the scene involving Hunt's character, Juliette. Moreover, an intimacy coordinator was not brought in per the suit, and the set was not closed off.

Pathé President Talks Strategy For Cannes Opening Film ‘Leave One Day’; Upcoming Releases & Move Back Into UK Film: The Deadline Q&a
Image
Exclusive: French mini-major Pathé is at the Cannes Film Festival this year with opening film Leave One Day as well as Martin Bourboulon’s August 2021 fall-of-Kabul action feature 13 Days, 13 Nights, which plays Out of Competition.

It follows on from a high-profile 2024 at the festival, when the company attended with The Count of Monte-Cristo, which was a hit at home and when on to gross more than $100 million, as well as Emilia Pérez and Partenope among other films.

Amélie Bonnin’s musical film Leave One Day made history on Tuesday evening as the first debut film to open the festival across its 78 editions.

The romantic musical builds on Bonnin’s 2023 César-winning short film of the same name. French singer Juliette Armanet stars as a rising chef in Paris who is forced to return to her small hometown to help out in her family’s roadside diner after her father suffers a heart attack.

Image
The Cannes Jury has arrived for the opening ceremony!

Jurors Halle Berry, Jeremy Strong, Alba Rohrwacher, Dieudo Hamadi, Payal Kapadia, Leïla Slimani and Carlos Reygadas, along with Jury President Juliette Binoche, arrived for the event, which also served as the screening for Partir Un Jour on Tuesday (May 13) in Cannes, France.

Earlier that day, Halle said her opening ceremony dress was nixed due to the new dress code rules!

“I had an amazing dress by Gupta that I cannot wear tonight because it’s too big of a train,” Halle said (via Variety). “I’m not going to break the rules. The nudity part is also probably a good rule.” Cannes did ban long, voluminous looks, as well as nudity.

Fyi: Halle is wearing Jacquemus with Chopard jewels. Juliette is wearing Chopard jewels. Jeremy is wearing Loro Piana.

Cannes Opener ‘Leave One Day,’ Produced by Pathé, Delivers Musical Ode to Everyday Life
Image
Filmmaker Amélie Bonnin wanted her feature debut to carry a personal imprint.

The auteur behind this year’s Cannes Film Festival opener “Leave One Day” had already field-tested the concept of a modern jukebox musical with her César-winning short “Bye Bye,” but once she got to work expanding the premise — and looking for new tracks — she began to question her very focus.

“I had originally chosen a male lead more out of habit than intention,” Bonnin explains. “Once I realized that, I knew I wanted to take a different path. I wanted to bring a specific perspective — that of a forty-year-old woman navigating work, questions of motherhood, and desire. I needed to tell this story through my own lens.”

Bonnin reshaped her musical dramedy around a rising chef, played by French pop star Juliette Armanet, who returns to her rural hometown to confront a family health crisis...

The Eternaut: Netflix’s 94% Comic-Book Adaptation Doesn’t Have Rebecca Ferguson but Delivers True Apocalyptic Horror
Image
If the dystopian show Silo and the apocalyptic series The Walking Dead had a comic book baby raised on existential dread and snowstorms—it would be The Eternaut. And guess what? Netflix just adapted this apocalyptic gem, and despite not having big names like Rebecca Ferguson, it’s already snowballing into a cult hit with a 94% Rotten Tomatoes score!

Based on the legendary 1950s comic by Héctor Germán Oesterheld and Francisco Solano López, Netflix’s The Eternaut isn’t just another survival story—it’s a deep, chilling dive into humanity versus alien horror. Silo wraps filming on season 3! When will it premiere on Apple TV+?
Image
Earlier this year, Apple TV+ finished airing the second season of Silo, the science fiction series starring Rebecca Ferguson as intrepid engineer truth-seeker Juliette Nichols. Season 2 was a thrilling ride, with Juliette unraveling the mysteries of a second Silo while all her friends back in the original Silo we saw during season 1 kicked off a revolution. In today's day and age of television, we'd expect to be waiting quite a while for the show's third season. But that won't be the case for Silo, because Apple announced on X over the weekend that the show had just wrapped filming on season 3!

Silo was renewed for season 3 and 4 in December 2024; season 4 will bring the series to a conclusion. The show will cover all of the material from Hugh Howey's Silo books, wrapping this show up in a strong way without wandering off into the weeds. Silo season 3 and 4 were slated to be filmed back-to-back.

Image
We're officially one step closer to stepping back inside Silo 18. Apple TV+ announced via X with a behind-the-scenes photo that filming has wrapped on Season 3 of its critically acclaimed dystopian series Silo starring Rebecca Ferguson. Work isn't done just yet on the Hugh Howey adaptation, though, as the series lead previously teased to Collider and later confirmed that the fourth chapter of Juliette's story will be filming back-to-back with the upcoming season. For those at home, however, it means the countdown is on until the show picks up from where that shocking finale left off. A release date has yet to be set.

Based on Howey's Wool trilogy and helmed by Graham Yost, Silo has centered on the remnants of humanity who have been kept sheltered from the inhospitable conditions outside in deep, suffocating multi-layered facilities known as Silos. The series has primarily followed Juliette Nichols as her investigations...

Siloseason 3 completes a major milestone, celebrating the occasion with a photo of star and executive producer Rebecca Ferguson. The Silo season 2 finale begins to explain how the show's dystopian world came to be, referring to a dirty bomb and issues between the U.S. and Iran. The streamer has confirmed that Silo season 3 has wrapped filming, sharing a photo of Ferguson from behind the scenes. The Only Apple TV+ Show Stephen King Called “Worth my time” Is a Sci-fi Masterpiece
Image
Author Stephen King, who is widely known and celebrated for his horror novels, is regarded as the King of Horror and has published nearly 200 short stories. Even though he is known for his horror novels, King has not restricted himself to one genre and has explored science fiction, fantasy, suspense, crime, and mystery genres as well.

Over the years, viewers have loved Stephen King’s love for giving brief reviews of the shows and movies he watches. Apple TV+, one of the most beloved sci-fi shows, had made it to his list of recommendations, and honestly, no one is surprised, as it was indeed one of the best watches on the streaming platform.

4 sci-fi books to read if you loved The Expanse
Image
I often say to people that The Expanse books by James S.A. Corey is more of a political drama that happens to be set in outer space. There are murder investigations and conspiracies, and the sci-fi element just helps to make it different from the usual political dramas and add another layer of friction and fear.

Once you’ve made your way through the book series — and what an epic series it is — you’ll want to find something else to check out. There's always the TV show, available to stream on Prime Video, but maybe you want to stick to the written word. You need the same mixture of sci-fi story and political thrilling, a story that explores the lives of different types of people living in different parts of the universe.

We have you covered with four great suggestions. Let's get reading!

You Season 5 Episodes 9-10 Recap: Did Joe Finally Get His Comeuppance?
Image
The final season of You was always going to be about Joe Goldberg facing the repercussions of his horrendous actions, and in that regard, despite the end of the series being predictable, the makers didn’t disappoint in concluding the psychopathic murderer’s arc. Joe pays for all the atrocities he has committed, and for what it’s worth, at least some of his victims get to turn their lives around and get justice at the end, which makes the series finale satisfying. Previously, Kate found herself an ally by freeing Nadia, the girl she and Joe had previously incriminated, as she prepared for a final showdown with Joe. On the other hand, Joe put her complete trust in Bronte after being able to be honest with her. Harrison learned about the Raegan/Maddie switcheroo, but with Joe’s threat and Maddie’s earnest approach to convince her, he decided...

‘Yellowjackets’ Star Sophie Thatcher on Thrilling Final Scene: “She Is Kind of the Hero of the Story”
Image
[This story contains major spoilers from the season three finale of Yellowjackets, “Full Circle.”]

Yellowjackets needed to deliver a win, and that’s exactly what the Showtime survival saga did when it capped its third season with Sophie Thatcher screaming from the top of a mountain to the head-banging tune of Aerosmith’s “Livin’ on the Edge.”

After a deadly season that was certainly the darkest one yet from showrunners Ashley Lyle, Bart Nickerson and Jonathan Lisco, and a revelatory finale that answered not only who killed Lottie (it was Shauna’s daughter Callie, played by Sarah Desjardins) but also unmasked the long-debated identity of Pit Girl as Mari (Alexa Barajas), Yellowjackets then followed teenage Natalie, played by Thatcher, to a mountaintop after she and Misty (explaining the smile Samantha Hanratty flashed in the pilot) secretly fixed the Sat phone from the scientists and Nat made a connection with the outside world.

The fist-pumping moment puts the teenagers who have been...

Created by Graham Yost, the science fiction dystopian drama Silo, based on Hugh Howey’s trilogy of the same name, concluded its second season in January 2025. The response to the series for the past two seasons gave the network the confidence to renew it for a third and a concluding fourth season. Actress Rebecca Ferguson stars as the lead on the show, which tells the story of a community that lives underground in a vertical haven due to the poisonous conditions of the outside world.

Melanie Lynskey Unravels Her ‘Yellowjackets’ Epiphany and Mourns Her Co-Stars
Image
[This story contains major spoilers from the season three finale of Yellowjackets, “Full Circle.”]

When actors find out they are getting killed off of Yellowjackets, they have a difficult call to make: one to their co-star, Melanie Lynskey. Given the killing spree in season three of the hit Showtime survival series, Lynskey received more than a few calls.

“They know I’m the most emotional one,” she tells The Hollywood Reporter. “So everybody had to break the news to me as though some tragic thing in real life had actually happened.”

The cast of Yellowjackets, which just wrapped its third season, is very close. So close that they throw death parties for one another when a character is killed off the show. The series is about teenagers stranded in the remote wilderness after a plane crash, and the depths they plunge in order to survive, both in the 1996 wilderness timeline and in present day, where Lynskey plays adult survivor Shauna (who...

'Yellowjackets' Creators Tease Hilary Swank Has the "Level of Sharp Teeth That This Character Requires"
Image
Editor's Note: This article contains spoilers for Yellowjackets Season 3, Episode 8, "A Normal, Boring Life."

When the first Yellowjacketstrailer dropped a few months ago, we were all gobsmacked by the reveal of Oscar-winning actress Hilary Swank running for her life in the present timeline. Now, after seven episodes of speculation, it's finally confirmed that Swank is playing the adult version of Melissa. Jenna Burgess originated the character in the '90s timeline, and thanks to her relationship with Shauna (Sophie Nélisse), she's become a major player in Season 3 after spending much of the first two seasons on the bench.

During a recent interview with Collider's Perri Nemiroff for Episode 8 at SXSW, "A Normal, Boring Life," co-showrunners Jonathan Lisco and Ashley Lyle and producer Drew Comins spoke about the casting process for Swank. When asked how they went about getting the heavily decorated actress, Lisco jumped in first, saying, "We went to her.
