Was gifted with a bracelet of woven cord made by a member of his squad while serving in Iraq in 2006. Brandon still continues to wear it to this day in honor of those he served with.

He has been a supporter of independent filmmakers, having made financial contributions to 3 film projects: Never Hike Alone in the Snow & Victim No More (two Friday the 13th fan films), and I Know What You Need (based on the story by Stephen King).
