What’s worse than entering the ring with a career-threatening injury? For Charlotte Flair, it may simply be exiting a marriage with the sinking sensation that history was repeating itself. WWE’s Queen, whose unparalleled athletic prowess had earned her 14 world titles, suffered through a brutal 2024 after a torn Acl, McL, and meniscus sidelined her.
As she showed the world her new power, her personal life struggled as well, with her divorce from Andrade leaving emotional scars to go with the physical ones.

WWE’s women’s division has always been criticized, and a significant percentage of wrestling enthusiasts feel that women’s wrestling is not as entertaining as men’s. Much of this can be agreed upon, as World Wrestling Entertainment is on The Road to WrestleMania 41, with several storylines that fans are heavily invested in.
Becky Lynch. Credits: WWE
At the same time, when we look at the women’s section, things seem to lack the same build-up and big moments that will make fans look forward to their match. Thus, making fans hold a steadfast belief that women’s wrestling can never catch up to the fraction of greatness that the men’s division has achieved in the last decade.
However, Ted Dibiase does not agree with the stans, stating how the female wrestlers of today are staging performances that redeem the division and are giving hope for a brighter future.

Match #1: Tna Tag Team Championship The Hardy Boyz def. Fraxiom The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Matt and Jeff Hardy proved that they are still the team to beat as they defeated Nathan Frazer and Axiom to retain the Tna Tag Team Title. The incredibly athletic offense from Fraxiom saw them hit their Spanish Fly/Phoenix Splash combo, but the veteran savvy of The Hardyz allowed them to stay in the matchup just long enough. Fraxiom’s attempt at a High Low backfired as Axiom accidentally hit Frazer, allowing Jeff to nail a Swanton Bomb to give them the win.

Cm Punk has been an evolutionary force in WWE. Whether in his early days or in the current ones, the involvement of Cm Punk brings out a massive craze in the fans and whatsoever rivalries he fights, it has been a glory to watch. Off late, he has been on a battle path with Seth Rollins and the feud simply keeps on garnering traction.
Punk’s journey in the WWE has been a long one and when he returned to the squared circle in Survivor Series: War Games 2023, there were quite a few unhappy faces. Seth Rollins didn’t like his return and he had found support in the form of Drew McIntyre who stormed off the building on that very night.

Rhea Ripley has become one of the top-rated WWE superstars of the modern era. In only a few years, The Eradicator became a top draw for the company in the women’s division and has been proving her worth week after week as an in-ring competitor.
Moreover, Mami has also been a top merchandise seller for the company, with fans donning her colors for WWE shows. This has been the scene for a long time, proving Ripley’s worth as a bonafide top WWE superstar.

The 2025 WWE Women’s Royal Rumble was packed with unexpected twists, surprise returns, and huge debuts that sent the Indianapolis crowd into a frenzy, and this year’s match delivered on the chaos, the drama, and, of course, the eliminations. Here’s a breakdown of the biggest surprises that shook the ring ropes. In perhaps the night’s most buzzworthy moment, Nikki Bella, fresh off her stint on The Traitors, made her shocking return as the #30 entrant. She went toe-to-toe with new talent like Roxanne Perez — who set a record for the longest time spent in a Rumble match — and had an intense face-off with Nia Jax, proving she still had the fearless spark that made her a fan favorite.

Nxt Deadline begins to wind down the WWE calendar year in explosive style in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Oba Femi returned to win the first Iron Survivor challenge of the evening, narrowly escaping a Je'von Evans pin to seal the victory. This sets up a huge feud with Nxt Champion Trick Williams, who successfully defended his title against Ridge Holland. Nathan Frazer and Axiom also retained their titles in an astonishing match with No Quarter Catch Crew's Myles Borne & Tavion Heights.
Lola Vice defeated Jaida Parker in a personal and physical Nxt Underground match, but the Match of the Night came with the Women's Iron Survivor match. One of the most must-see matches in the second half of WWE's calendar, Giulia emerged as the winner and new Number One Contender for Roxanne Perez's Women's Nxt Championship, but it was a night in which everybody came out looking like they had world-class potential.

Wes Lee would regret assaulting Rob Van Dam with a steel chair before his match with Je'von Evans, as Rvd then headed to ringside to distract Lee and enable Evans to get the win.
Nxt Women's Champion Roxanne Perez was pinned by Zaria, as the Australian shone in a 10-woman tag match between Giulia, Jordynne Grace, Kelani Jordan, Stephanie Vaquer & Zaria and Cora Jade, Fallon Henley, Jacy Jayne & Jazmyn Nyx and Perez. Welcome to this review of the latest Nxt premium live event, Halloween Havoc, right here on Nerdly. Last year was two weeks of special Nxt epsiodes but we’ve switch back to a Ple/PPV format for this one, so let’s get straight into it and see what went down…
Match #1: Nxt North American Championship Tables, Ladders and Scares Match – Tony D’Angelo def. Oba Femi The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The North American Championship remains with Tony D’Angelo after a remarkable show of courage and unity from The D’Angelo Family. The Don was a man possessed to begin Halloween Havoc as he attacked The Ruler before the bell, knocking him to the outside before crushing him through the barricade with a rib-cracking Spear. A determined Femi powered through the pain and unleashed a hellacious attack on D’Angelo using steel chairs and ladders to crush...

WWE’s Nxt premiere on The CW was memorable for many reasons. The historic show saw the return of Cora Jade after tearing her Acl, McL, and meniscus at the start of 2024 during a live event. In a surprising turn, Jade helped former friend turned rival Roxanne Perez retain the Nxt Women’s Championship. Now the 23-year-old is set to have her first match back in more than nine months at Halloween Havoc. She’ll team with Perez to take on the international superstars Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer. Ahead of the big tag team match, the emerging talent talks about her road to recovery and where she wants to take this “Generation of Jade” next. There were a few months when you weren’t on TV. Then you finally got back into the mix, you had the injury not long after. What does that do to you as someone so...

Match #1: Damage Ctrl vs. Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson (No Contest) The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Former Nxt Women’s Champions Iyo Sky and Kairi Sane returned to Nxt for a tag team match against The Meta-Four’s Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson, but they left with even more enemies. Sky and Sane’s quickness was met with sheer power from Lash Legend who at one point dribbled their heads like basketballs on the middle rope. With the action going back and forth inside the ring, SmackDown’s Chelsea Green and Piper Niven crashed the scene and forced a No Contest by laying out all four Superstars.
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Jaida Parker def. Tatum Paxley The following is courtesy of wwe.

Match #1: Stephanie Vaquer def. Wren Sinclair The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The hype is real as Nxt’s newest sensation Stephanie Vaquer shined in her debut against Wren Sinclair. The No Quarter Catch Crew Superstar did her best to keep up, but the vicious offense from The Dark Angel was as brutal as it was impressive, allowing Vaquer to win comfortably. After the match, Nxt Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade launched on sneak attack on Vaquer, prompting Giulia to save her.
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: Gentleman’s Duel – Lexis King def. Oro Mensah The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

Match #1: Nxt Tag Team Championship – Nathan Frazer & Axiom def. Chase U The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Former Nxt Tag Team Champions Nathan Frazer and Axiom brought Andre Chase and Ridge Holland’s title reign to a screeching halt. After Axiom hit the Spanish Fly on Chase off the top rope, Frazer took to the air with the Phoenix Splash follow up to help the self-proclaimed “Fraxiom” once again claim the gold. Immediately after the bell, an enraged Holland shocked the Nxt Universe when he suddenly attacked Chase U and drove Chase into the announce table.

Roxanne Perez has done more at age 22 in WWE than some may do their entire career. “The Prodigy” currently reigns as the WWE Nxt women’s champion. It has been an impressive run for Perez who successfully held on to the gold against the likes of Chelsea Green, Natalya, Lola Vice, Lyra Valkyria, and even Tna’s own Jordynne Grace. Confidence continues to grow for the impressive talent with each outing as the brand’s show gears up for its move to The CW on October 1. Perez hopes to be the champ for the milestone event. Jaida Parker stands in her way from making that happen. The emerging superstar looks to take the title at No Mercy on September 1. Here Perez gives her thoughts on Parker, learning under Cm Punk and wanting to build a legacy. Who are you channeling when you are playing this villainous character on TV? Roxanne Perez: So many people.
