Addison Rae is still reveling in the joy of opening for one of her favorite artists. In a live interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music on Monday, Rae gushed about her experience playing at Lana Del Rey’s Wembley shows in early July, and how she related to Del Rey’s perfectionism.

Though obviously not quite as elaborate as Gaga’s own video and performances, Yang and Rogers still pulled out as many stops as they could. There was a troupe of cane-wielding back-up dancers, some committed vocal runs, and stomping choreography. The Recording Academy extended its annual membership invitation Wednesday morning to nearly 3,600 music industry professionals from several disciplines. “For today’s music creators, Grammy membership opens up an incredible set of opportunities,” Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. said in a statement.

“Not only do voting members get the chance to honor their peers with Grammy nominations and awards, Academy members get access to hands-on experience, skill development to advance their careers, exposure to peers and mentors in the music industry and be part of an organization shaping the future of music,” he added. New members will get the chance participate in several initiatives including driving “meaningful Dei progress and impact” through the organization’s Dream Initiative, according to a release.

On the heels of her debut studio LP and gracing the cover of Rolling Stone, Addison Rae is taking her new music across the world this year. The pop star kicks off the global Addison tour in August at the National Stadium in Dublin, Ireland, following it up with dates in Brooklyn, New York, Los Angeles, and wrapping it up with a show in Sydney, Australia, in November.

Haim delivered a decade-spanning performance for their latest appearance in the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge. The trio selected Addison Rae’s single “Headphones On” for the cover portion of their mini-set, but echoed the song with a twist. Appropriately dubbed “The Addison Tour,” Rae will begin her inaugural multi-continent run with a short European trek in late summer before kicking off the North American leg in Austin on September 22nd. She’ll continue with concerts in Nashville, Atlanta, Washington D.C., New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, Toronto, Chicago, Denver, and Oakland.
