Vanessa Born was a part of the first Student Film Nominations for BAFTA LA/USA Award at the Annenberg Center of The Arts in Beverly Hills. It was one of the first award Shows held at the theatre. She was Nominated for the film "South Arcadia St," (Directed by Melanie D' Andrea).
