Actor Will Smith threw an extra off the New York City set of his upcoming movie Men In Black III after he spied the man trying to take his photo during a scene.

The veteran caused a stir as he shot the highly-anticipated alien encounter sequel in the Big Apple, famously insisting a large double-decker trailer be brought in to accommodate his every need.

And local actor Michael Dean, who appears in the new film, reveals the 43 year old icon was so adamant about maintaining his privacy, Smith fired a star-struck recruit for trying to secretly snap his picture.

Dean tells the New York Post, "Will called him out personally: 'Is that guy filming me?' He stopped the whole scene, walked up to the guy and asked him to leave the set. It was interesting."...

Lionsgate has acquired ensemble comedy Friends with Kids for Us distribution.

Written and directed by Jennifer Westfeldt, Friends with Kids stars Kristen Wiig, Jon Hamm, Megan Fox, Maya Rudolph, Adam Scott, Chris O’Dowd, Edwards Burns, Michael Dean and Westfeldt herself.

Friends with Kids is about a pair of thirtysomething best friends who observe the toll that having kids has taken on the couples they know and resolve to bypass that stress by having a child and then date other people.

The film premiered at the 36th Toronto Film Festival to middling reviews, and is expected to be released in the Us later this year.

Sneak Peek new key art and images supporting "Pan Am", the upcoming ABC TV series focusing on the airline, 'Pan American World Airways', their pilots and flight attendants, circa 1963.

Produced by Sony Pictures Television, the series was picked up by ABC for the 2011–2012 television season, with Sony licensing the rights to the Pan Am name and logo from Pan Am Systems, a New Hampshire-based railroad company that acquired the Pan Am brand in 1998.

Cast includes Christina Ricci, Kelli Garner, Michael Mosley, Mike Vogel, Karine Vanasse, Margot Robbie, Annabelle Wallis, Michael Dean, Will Chase, Roy William Gardne, Jay Storey, Bettina Bilger, and Brian J. Carter.

The series will debut September 25, 2011.
