Travis Kelce says it was a "dream come true" working alongside Adam Sandler in 'Happy Gilmore 2'. The 35-year-old American football star - who is dating pop megastar Taylor Swift - has an undisclosed role in the forthcoming film, which will see Sandler reprise his role as the titular character. NFL legend Travis, who plays tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, admitted he has "a few" scenes in the movie, and insisted the experience was "off the chain". Speaking on 'The Pat McAfee Show', he said: "That was a dream come true."I thought 'SNL' was going to be the peak of my acting and showman or entertainment career. "Working with Happy Gilmore himself, the Sandman and Happy Productions, it was off the chain."Kelce found Sandler to be "every bit as cool off the screen as he is on the screen" during the filming process.

On a recent episode of “The Pat McAfee Show,” Travis Kelce discussed how exciting it was to work with comedy legend Adam Sandler. Kelce will appear alongside Sandler in Netflix’s “Happy Gilmore 2,” which is set for a 2025 release. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end is cast in a currently undisclosed role; in a recently released teaser, he appears to play some sort of country club employee.

“That was a dream come true,” Kelce said, “I thought ‘SNL’ was going to be the peak of my acting and showman or entertainment career. Working with Happy Gilmore himself, the Sandman and Happy Productions, it was off the chain.”

While he is by no means top-billed, Kelce said he has “a few” scenes in the film, and that shooting for “Happy Gilmore 2” was “a hefty load” of work.

“They’re so professional and yet so fun to work with,” Kelce added.
