Joséphine-Fransilja Brookman, is an Afro-European, British actress from South London. She is one of four girls and trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.

Alongside her sisters, she is a founder of Sisu Aina Productions, a multimedia production company focused on amplifying authentic Black voices and championing untold stories that need to be heard.

Joséphine is of Ghanaian, Finnish, Sephardi and Brazilian descent.

Her maternal grandfather, was Prince Ardaye Coffi Ankrah, one of the co-founders and principal dancers for Ballet Nègres and the son of Nil Kpakpo Oti II, head of the Ghanaian royal family.
