His calves can be seen on Discovery Channel's "Plastic Surgery: Buyer Beware". Phil had just completed shooting a scene for another Discovery Channel show, "Danger in the O.R.", and the director liked the fact that his legs had less hair than the actor originally slotted for the calf role.

Uncle is Ron Talsky, an Oscar-nominated costume and production designer. Ron was nominated for costumes for "The Three Musketeers".
