The Haunting at Jack the Ripper’s House has secured a coveted World Premiere slot at London’s iconic Odeon Leicester Square, as part of FrightFest 2025. Screening on 23 August at 6:30 Pm, the feature marks an ambitious debut from filmmakers Stephen Staley and Natasha Tosini, who also take leading roles in the chilling production.

Chosen from thousands of international submissions, the selection cements the film’s place among this year’s most hotly anticipated titles at the UK’s largest genre festival. The pair, who wrote, directed, produced and starred in the project under the Taw Entertainment banner, described the milestone as surreal, acknowledging FrightFest’s reputation as a platform for bold new voices in horror.

The film follows the Haunt Hunters, a group of YouTube content creators determined to prove the legitimacy of their paranormal investigations. Their latest challenge takes them to the infamous Jack the Ripper Manor, a site steeped in historical infamy.

Viral Haunt has been retitled The Haunting at Jack the Ripper’s House, and Bloody Disgusting has not one but two exclusive trailers for the found footage horror film below.

ITN Distribution’s official preview centers on the horrors surrounding the Jack the Ripper legend, while producers Taw Entertainment’s alternate trailer shows more of the influencers’ reactions to the terrors that await them.

“With the new title, we’re leaning even deeper into the terror and mystery that surrounds Jack the Ripper’s legend,” the filmmakers tell Bloody Disgusting. “And now, with the trailer officially out, audiences can finally get a glimpse of the horror that awaits.”
