Played Kiefer Sutherland's wife during the first season of 24 (2001). She later starred with Kiefer's father, Donald Sutherland, on the TV series Commander in Chief (2005).

Has a son named MacKenzie James Angell who was born in Los Angeles, California on May 28, 1993.

She and Max Martini were at St. Michaels University School in Victoria, B.C. in 1981-1982; Max was in Grade 7, while Leslie was in Grade 12. They lived on the same campus and ate in the same dining hall, but Max attended classes on a different campus.
