- He has programmed over 500 influential film festivals for New York's Film Forum and championed scores of film rediscoveries and restorations.
- Known for his gimmick movie screenings, especially his interactive version of William Castle's The Tingler, which he has presented across the U.S. and around the world (Dublin, Glasgow, Munich, Paris, Neuchatel (Switzerland), Ljubjana (Switzerland).
