That doesn't happen with Kirk. He invited us to a party at his house. He put his arms around both of us, and showed us around the place.

[on Jimmy Smits] There are no airs about him. He's just a regular guy, kind and nice. And I love that. He's not a phony in the least. There's not a phony bone in is body.

[on Willem Dafoe] He's got a very exotic look. He looks cool, but he has an intensity about him that can go either way. He can be really frightening while acting. But he's easygoing - got a quick smile, and a quick laugh.

[on Faye Dunaway] She was going through a marriage breakup. She was a diva. People thought I was her. That created a problem. I admire Faye - but it wasn't easy. Faye wouldn't interact.

When you feel trusted as an actor, you can fly. It gives you absolutely magnificent wings, because you know you can try something and you're not going to be made fun of.
