Herbert Evans(1882-1952)

He appeared in four Best Picture Academy Award winners, the last three of which were in consecutive years: Grand Hotel (1932), Com'era verde la mia valle (1941), La signora Miniver (1942) and Casablanca (1942). The only other actor to appear in three consecutive Best Picture winners is Harry Davenport, who appeared in Emilio Zola (1937), L'eterna illusione (1938) and Via col vento (1939). Herbert Evans also appears in four other Best Picture nominees: Shanghai Express (1932), È nata una stella (1937), La leggenda di Robin Hood (1938) and Il prigioniero di Amsterdam (1940).
