Though Pat and Lauren Lane of La tata (1993) both Appeared in Doppia personalità (1986), they actually never met until Lauren, as a celebrity model, posed for Stephen's coffee table book "The Sweater Book" nearly 10 years later.

His mother, born Sue Taylor, is descended from the father of Zachary Taylor, the 12th President of the United States.

In 1994 After many struggles to "make it" as an actor in New York City, Pat abandoned his acting dream and went to work behind various office desks working in the advertising/marketing field. 15 years later, in 2009, on a whim, he decided to take an acting class from his close associate, Austin Pendleton, who encouraged him to return to acting full time.

(May 2010-present) Left the advertising industry and returned to acting full time focusing primarily on stage work in New York and regional theatre. Studies weekly at HB Studios with his greatest acting mentor Austin Pendleton.

(May 2011-2013) Pat and his husband, Stephen Mosher, partnered with Allan Piper, in creating the marriage equality Documentary Married and Counting (2013).

In Hamlet in the Golden Vale (2018) Pat appears as all 3 Kings (The Ghost, Claudius AND The Player King.) The First and, to date, only actor to take on all 3 roles in one film rendition of Shakespeare's Hamlet.

Between acting jobs, Pat continued honing his skills with classes at HB Studios on Bank Street in New York City. His teachers have included Austin Pendleton, the late George Morfogen, the late Mark Blum, and Victor Slezak.

He and his husband, Stephen Mosher are twice daily practitioners of Transcendental Meditation having learned the technique at the David Lynch TM Center in New York City. Lynch is reputed to have not missed a single meditation himself in nearly half a century.
