Sunny Deol(I)

Rajkumar Santoshi was to make the film "Ajay" with Sunny Deol, Meenakshi Sheshadri and Raveena Tandon in 1990/1991. Music was by Bappi Lahiri, Produced by Dharmendra. Santoshi and Meenakshi were having some problems and Santoshi decided to put the film on hold. In 1997 Boney Kapoor offered Santoshi a good deal financially to make Ajay with Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit and Namrata Shirodkar. The title "Pukar" was selected for the project. This angered Sunny Deol as the script was originally his idea and Sunny hated Anil Kapoor.
