Aug.13, 1977, "The Deacon" was recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records for 'kissing' 2,400 girls (and monkey) with 6,153 lip-locks on the shores of Myrtle Beach, SC. However, he was denied a spot in the book by an Indiana competitor one month before the book was published in November of that year.
