Airing more than 100 episodes between 2003 and 2008, Las Vegas followed an elite surveillance team keeping order at the (fictional) Montecito Resort & Casino, a premier Sin City destination. Another broadcast series of the the pre-streaming era has found its way to SVOD. All five seasons of the 2003 NBC drama Las Vegas, starring James Caan and Josh Duhamel, will be available on Peacock starting Dec. 29, the NBCUniversal streamer announced Friday.

Produced by Peacock’s sibling NBCU TV studio, Las Vegas, which marked Caan’s first major TV series role and Duhamel’s transition from daytime to primetime, originally aired on NBC from 2003-2007.

While newer series come with their rights pre-negotiated, shows that aired before the late 2000s have to go through an extensive music clearing process before they can go on a streaming platform.

We all know how things started, with Sam Raimi's 2002 "Spider-Man" giving us our first proper live-action Spidey film. Two years after the Los Angeles Lakers won the NBA title, team controlling owner and president Jeanie Buss has another reason to celebrate.

She and actor Jay Mohr are engaged, a representative for Buss told The Hollywood Reporter. The couple have yet to set a wedding date.

Buss, 61, has previously posted to social media about the relationship, including a tweet from September 2021 on her 60th birthday that featured a photo of the pair kissing. She included the message, “Happiness. Love. Joy. That’s what you have given me on my birthday and every day in between. This picture, taken at our friend’s wedding in June, tells the story, our story. I guess really can have it all. I love you @jaymohr37.”

Brad William Henke, a former NFL player who segued to acting and appeared in TV series including Orange Is the New Black, Justified and Lost and such films as Pacific Rim and World Trade Center, has died. He was 56. His family said Henke died in his sleep November 29, but no cause was given.

Born on April 10, 1966, in Columbus, Ne, and raised in Littleton, Co, Henke played college football at the University of Arizona, where he was team captain and an All-Academic student journalist. Drafted by the New York Giants in 1989, he went on to play on the defensive line for the Denver Broncos and appeared in Super Bowl Xxiv.

Jay Mohr is alleging that his estranged wife Nikki Cox battles both drug and mental health issues and is requesting sole physical custody of their son, according to new court documents obtained by People.

In the documents filed March 10, Mohr, 46, is requesting sole physical custody of their five-year-old son, Meredith Daniel Cox Mohr, and joint legal custody, with Cox receiving “reasonable visitation with Meredith, which shall be professionally monitored.”

The new filing comes three months after Mohr filed for divorce from Cox for the second time on Dec. 13 and initially requested joint legal and physical custody of their son.

Criss Angel is opening up about that scary stunt.

The 49-year-old magician spoke out on Monday after recovering from a scary incident at Friday night's Mindfreak Live! performance.

During the show, Angel lost consciousness while attempting an upside down straitjacket escape, after which he was promptly rushed to the hospital.

Nick Cannon is getting candid about his unexpected departure from America's Got Talent.

The 36-year-old comedian recently sat down with Et's Kevin Frazier while filming Wild 'N Out: Live in Times Square, where he opened up about not wanting to be "defined" by his job, whether it's as the host of a hugely popular reality TV show, a musician, a producer or a stand-up comic.

"The entertainment industry itself [can] compartmentalize you," Cannon shared. "[People] get caught in a sense of like, 'You should be happy to be here,' or, 'It is the dream job. Things like this don't come along to everyone.' But things like that don't define me."

Actor Jay Mohr has declared he is "very in love" with his wife, despite filing legal papers to end their nine-year marriage.

The Jerry Maguire star had his lawyers lodge legal papers in court on Tuesday (July 19), citing irreconcilable differences for seeking a divorce from actress Nikki Cox.

He then filed an emergency petition for full physical custody of their five-year-old son Meredith Daniel on Wednesday (20Jul16), claiming Nikki is battling depression and is self-medicating.

But on Thursday (21Jul16), all appeared to be well again as the couple tells TMZ.com, "We are very married. Very in love. Very happy and that's really all there is."

Mohr and Cox's comments suggest they are trying to work out their differences.

Meanwhile, a judge has set a hearing for the custody petition for next month (Aug16) so he can hear from both sides.

In an event to promote their upcoming film Blackhat, Universal collaborated with Google’s Chrome Security Engineering Manager, Parisa Tabriz, to bring all of San Francisco’s top hackers (all the big names working in computer security) together for an early screening of the film and a question and answer session with director Michael Mann (Heat, Public Enemies, The Last of the Mohicans). After the screening, the audience was surprised when not only Michael Mann showed up, but all three stars of the film as well, including Chris Hemsworth (Thor, The Avengers, Rush)! New York (AP) — Justin Bieber has kicked off the music portion of South by Southwest before the real program begins. The 20-year-old pop star surprised a small crowd at Banger's Sausage House & Beer Garden in Austin, Texas, on Sunday night. Audience member Ashley Gregg said Monday that Bieber performed two songs, dedicating "Boyfriend" to ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez, who was backstage. "This goes out to my baby girl," Bieber told a crowd of about 100 people. The bar was hosting an event for Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun. Surprise performers included Bieber and boy band The Wanted. Cody Simpson, Dan + Shay, Tori Kelly and Rixton, who are among Braun's clients, also performed. After taking a six-year break from acting to tour the world as the frontman for the band 30 Seconds to Mars, Jared Leto returned with his latest role as Rayon, a transgender AIDS patient in Dallas Buyers Club, that has been earning him awards and acclaim. He has an Oscar nomination for a Best Supporting Actor, and has already picked up a SAG Award, Critics’ Choice Award and Golden Globe, where he did get some criticism for joking during his acceptance speech.
