- Discovered by Erich von Stroheim. Conti made his last film as actor in 1942, he remained in the industry as an employee of the MGM wardrobe department until his retirement in 1962. But he's credited too in this function in two pics: one "In Old Chicago" at Twentieth Century Fox and one other "Prejudice", a social, religious drama made by Edmund L. Dorfmann Productions for Protestant Film Commission. -R.U.
