At the time of her death, one of her two sons was performing the leading role in Brentwood High School's production of "The Man Who Came to Dinner" which was written by her grandfather sixty years earlier.

She was cremated at Neptune Society in Sherman Oaks, California. Her memorial service was held at Saint James Episcopal Church in Los Angeles, California ten days after her passing.

Beatrice converted to Christianity when she married Patrick Cronin in 1977.

Her death occurred at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

She did not live to see the DVD releases of Happy Days (1974) and Wonder Woman (1975).
