He studied at Cambridge University and, while there, joined the Royal
Court Theatre, London, as assistant to the director. He later became
associate artistic director of the Royal Court Theatre.
With Rory Bremner and John Fortune, he was nominated for a 2003 Laurence Olivier Theatre Award for Best Entertainment of 2002 for their show performed at the Albery.
