Seth Rogen is back with a new comedy series and he stepped out with the star-studded cast for an L.A. premiere.

The 42-year-old actor hit the red carpet for the premiere of his show The Studio on Monday night (March 24) at the Academy Museum in Los Angeles.

Seth was joined by fellow series regulars Catherine O’Hara, Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz, Chase Sui Wonders and major recurring guest stars Bryan Cranston, Keyla Monterroso Mejia and Dewayne Perkins.

Olivia Wilde and Johnny Knoxville, who play themselves in the show, also attended the premiere.

More special guests included guest star Sugar Lyn Beard, as well as Dave Franco, Will Forte, Jack Whitehall, married couple Troian Bellisario and Patrick J Adams, and Lil Rel Howery.

Apple TV+’s The Studio aims to give audiences a peek behind the Hollywood curtain. Funnily enough, it was reported years ago that Seth Rogen had pitched an idea at HBO that pre-dated Entourage, but would be very similar in navigating the glamour of showbiz and would also intend to show some inside baseball on the film industry in Hollywood. Rogen gets to do it in a different fashion with his new TV series and, just like Entourage, there are cameos aplenty by a large number of people playing a version of themselves.

A just-released reel shows the co-creator, director, writer, executive producer, and star rattling off just a few of the A-list names fans can expect to see this season. "I'm stressed out just thinking about it," he jokes.

The Studio has revealed its full guest cast for the Hollywood sendup series co-created by Seth Rogen.

Rogen — also the lead actor, writer, director and executive producer on the Apple series about moviemaking — has taken to his director’s chair to announce the many guest stars in the comedy, which had promised A-list cameos in every episode. In The Studio, Rogen stars as Matt Remick, a newly appointed (fictional) head of the embattled Continental Studios who finds himself forever fighting and debating with his fellow creatives and demanding actors over whether art and commerce can coexist in Hollywood.

“I kind of viewed it like I was putting a band together,” Rogen explains in the new teaser, which briefly introduces a handful of characters played by some of the starry names below.

J Balvin will make his big screen debut as an Interpol investigator digging into a drug smuggling operation in the upcoming film, Little Lorraine, according to Variety.

The film appears to be loosely based on real events in the Eighties, and will chronicle how a far-flung fishing and mining village in Nova Scotia became a hub for cocaine smuggling. Balvin’s Interpol investigator is drawn up north while investigating a Colombian drug ring suspected of moving product through the area.

Along with Balvin, the film will star Sean Astin and Stephen Amell.

The Flash is undoubtedly pulling out all the stops for its final season. Prior to Season 9’s debut, fans of the series knew many familiar faces would be returning to series, this includes Stephen Amell’s Oliver Queen, and Keiynan Lonsdale’s Wally West. In a new exclusive clip for Episode 6, “The Good, the Bad and the Lucky,” the series has unveiled the surprise return of fan favorite character, Becky Sharpe also known as Hazard, played by Sugar Lyn Beard.

Kesha is set to star in a new scripted musical sci-fi podcast series, Electric Easy, premiering July 19th on Spotify and other podcast services.

Though there’s already a very serious looking drama about teen abortion called “Never Rarely Sometimes Always” that opened this year, the first trailer for the new film “Unpregnant” starring Haley Lu Richardson gives a road trip, buddy comedy spin on the same story.

Richardson stars alongside Barbie Ferreira in a comedy coming to HBO Max in which Richardson plays a straight-a student and popular kids who enlists her more rebellious, former best friend (Ferreira) to get an abortion over 1,000 miles in New Mexico. Of course in this story, they end up on the run from the cops, in a stolen Trans-Am and even trying to jump aboard a moving train on their trip to get the procedure done.

“There’s an Albuquerque in Missouri? The law won’t let me get one without my parents knowing,” Richardson says in the trailer. “It’s my life, it’s my choice.

HBO Max is continuing to round out its original film programming, adding a fresh new comedy from “Valley Girl” remake filmmaker Rachel Lee Goldenberg and rising stars Haley Lu Richardson and Barbie Ferreira to its upcoming slate. “Unpregnant” puts a humorous spin on a tough, timely topic, but promises to do it with a generous dash of humor. The film’s first trailer offers a funny first look at a fresh take on the young adult novel of the same name, written by authors Jenni Hendriks (“How I Met Your Mother”) and Ted Caplan (music editor for “The Hate U Give” and “The Greatest Showman”).

The film follows Richardson’s Veronica, a Missouri teen who is shocked to discover she is pregnant, and who sets off on a road trip with her former best pal Bailey (Ferreira) in hopes of securing an abortion so that she can continue to pursue her Ivy League college dreams.

HBO Max has acquired the U.S. streaming rights to all films from Japan’s Oscar-winning animation house Studio Ghibli, the streaming platform announced Thursday.

HBO Max will debut the catalog in the spring of 2020. The deal marks the first time the films will be licensed to a streaming platform.

Available films will include the Academy Award-winning “Spirited Away,” “My Neighbor Totoro,” “Princess Mononoke,” “Howl’s Moving Castle,” “Kiki’s Delivery Service,” “Ponyo,” “Castle in the Sky,” “The Tale of The Princess Kaguya” and many more.

Sugar Lyn Beard is joining the cast of HBO Max’s “UNpregnant” opposite Haley Lu Richardson and Barbie Ferreira, TheWrap has learned exclusively.

“UNpregnant” will be one of the first features made by WarnerMedia’s upcoming streaming service and will be a coming-of-age project under Greg Berlanti’s deal with the streamer. Beard is playing Kate, a woman in her 30s “with a very sweet, wholesome and earnest vibe,” according to the streamer.

Berlanti is producing alongside partner Sarah Schechter. Erik Feig, who just launched PictureStart, is also producing with Lucy Kitada and Jessica Switch.

“UNpregnant” is based on a Ya novel of the same name and follows a Missouri teen who with her friend hits the road to obtain a legal abortion. Jenni Hendriks and Ted Caplan, who wrote the book, wrote the script.

Netflix have a habit of dropping teen-friendly films at the drop of a hat, and that’s exactly what has happened here. The Package is a Spring Break set comedy with a very fun cast who gave DaniElle DeLaite a very funny, and very rude interview.

The Package stars Geraldine Viswanathan, Sugar Lyn Beard, Alexander Calvert, Sadie Calvano, Daniel Doheny, Veena Sood, Luke Spencer Roberts and Eduardo Franco. It is written by Kevin Burrows and Matt Mider and directed by Jake Szymanski.

Netflix has released a fun first trailer for the upcoming comedy The Package, which sees a group of teenage friends go on a camping trip for spring break. They end up partying way too hard and in the process, there's an "unfortunate accident sets off a race against time to save their friend's most prized possession."

The Package comes from the creators of Workaholics and Tropic Thunder and it looks funny enough and worth checking out. The film was directed by Jake Szymanski from a script written by Kevin Burrows and Matt Mider.

The film was produced by Nicholas Weinstock, Adam Devine, Anders Holm, Blake Anderson, Kyle Newacheck and Ross M. Dinerstein. As for the cast, it stars Daniel Doheny, Geraldine Viswanathan, Sadie Calvano, Luke Spencer Roberts, Eduardo Franco, Michael Eklund, Gary Jones, Alexander Calvert, Sugar Lyn Beard, and Blake Anderson.

4.14 Subject 9

It’s one step forward and two steps back for Team Flash this week, where the gang figures out a piece of the Devoe puzzle, but at great cost. It’s also a time for the supporting characters to shine, with Ralph, Harry, and Cecile stepping into the spotlight for a while.

It’s no real surprise that Captain Singh put Barry on indefinite leave, but considering Barry is one of the few heroes who is as passionate about his day job as he is about his off-hours gig, it’s heartbreaking nonetheless. From a strictly business perspective, it does make managing The Flash’s growing cast a bit easier,...

After being forced into hibernation for a few weeks thanks to the 2018 Winter Olympics, The Flash is finally ready to get back to business. And with Barry Allen now finally out of the clink, we hope the show can recapture some of the old magic – or lightning in a bottle, if we’re to be more on the nose.

So, as DeVoe continues to body-hop – this time in the skin of Hazard – Team Flash make a mad dash to locate the rest of the bus metas, as laid out in a new featurette that you can view at the top. Taking us on the guided tour is none other than executive producer Todd Helbing, who gives us a decent idea of what to expect from “Subject 9.”

Speaking of which, one can’t help but assume that “Subject 9” is that of the Fiddler, who’s out to prove that guest characters can get lamer.

With DeVoe's plans slowly being revealed, Ralph realizes he's a target and not pleased with the possibility. Will he continue to work with Team Flash? Or, will he take his chances on his own in "Subject 9"?

With the 14th episode airing in a couple of weeks, The Flash season 4 is heating up now, as the game of wits between Barry Allen, his friends and the Thinker intensifies. In case you need to remind yourself of just how much fun the past few months have been, though, The CW’s got you covered with the new promo up above.

The trailer features clips taken from what we’ve already seen so far, showing off the highs and lows of recent times in Central City. Let’s not forget that Barry began this year by emerging from the Speed Force reborn, coming back with a new attitude and increased powers. Later on, he got married to the love of his life, Iris West, before enduring a spell in prison – until his friends pulled together to get him out.

Speaking of which, the promo also highlights several other super-powered members of Team Flash.

Barry Allen is now back out of prison, but that doesn’t mean his troubles are over. In the next episode of The Flash, titled “Subject 9,” the Thinker will continue his/her masterplan as Team Flash comes up against a new metahuman.

In last week’s episode, Ralph shapeshifting into DeVoe got Barry released from prison – but the real DeVoe is still one step ahead of them. The Thinker is now inside the body of Becky Sharpe/Hazard (Sugar Lyn Beard) and we know from the promo for “Subject 9” that his next target will be Izzy Aka the Fiddler (Miranda McDougall).

In the comics, the Fiddler is a male member of the Flash’s rogues who’s also teamed up with the Injustice Society and the Black Lantern Corps. The meta uses their fiddling skills to hypnotize others and on The Flash, the character has not only been gender-bent, but...

Although we could probably keep going back and forth when it comes to what the last few episodes of The Flash had to offer, I hope that we can all agree it’s for the better that Barry Allen has finally been exonerated and is out of prison. To borrow from the title of the Scarlet Speedster’s inaugural story arc in the New 52, we can now “move forward.”

Of course, we’re going to have to wait to see whatever lies ahead, as the network has placed this and several other of its shows on a brief hiatus for the next few weeks. As such, we had not much to go on last week other than a new promo video.

Fortunately, there’s now this synopsis for the returning episode, “Subject 9”:

After witnessing The Flash recapture some of its old magic around the midseason mark, I felt less than enthused to see Barry Allen remain behind bars for several weeks. Really, I couldn’t have been the only one who felt much of the show’s excitement had been lost by having the titular character moping in the clink, right? Not only that, but this season’s big bad, Clifford DeVoe, decided to take a small vacation.

Fortunately for those who were growing bored, Team Flash found a clever way to get Barry exonerated and, in a move that may prove to be divisive, DeVoe once again indulged in his new hobby of body-hopping, this time taking over the mind of Hazard. I’m guessing none of us knew how big of a role Sugar Lyn Beard would play when she was cast last fall, but my better judgment says this...

4.3 Luck Be A Lady

Well, the good news about Luck Be A Lady is that the sudden pivot to all-out Legends Of Tomorrow-style humour is still working. The jokes are funny. The tone is bouncy. This cast is extraordinarily well suited to rocketing from joke to joke, and their comic timing is impeccable. I need to get this out of the way up front, lest you all think that I have a problem with the new direction the show is taking.

The bad news is that Luck Be A Lady is our second consecutive disposable episode, featuring another low-grade villain of the week,...

As chronicled by The Thinker’s opening voiceover, Rebecca/Becky Sharpe (played by my new crush Sugar Lyn Beard) was a casino dealer who throughout life suffered myriad indignities — having a MySpace page in the year 2017 apparently among them. Her status as a self-described jinx was changed one day, however, when fresh from being canned she hot-footed it in fishnets to catch a life-changing bus ride.

To date, The Flash has utilized no shortage of villains culled from the comic books, which is quite understandable when you take the Scarlet Speedster’s impressive rogues gallery into account. While we’ve seen more well known knaves such as Captain Cold, Mirror Master and the Reverse-Flash give the S.T.A.R. Labs crew headaches, there have also been more obscure baddies featured like Girder and Magenta. And, as you could probably gather, the latest addition to the enduring television saga falls in with the latter.

In tonight’s ironically titled episode, “Luck Be A Lady,” Sugar Lyn Beard debuts as Becky Sharpe Aka Hazard, a woman possessing one of the most bizarre power sets we’ve seen thus far. In a nutshell, she’s been experiencing much good fortune on her end, but it comes at the expense of giving other residents of Central City serious rounds of bad luck.

NBC has put in development a comedy from Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg, Sugar Lyn Beard (Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates) and Sony Pictures TV, with Beard attached to star. Nick (Jon Bass) would like to think he’s “endearing weird,” but the world seems to perceive him as “weird weird.” That’s tough enough, but when the feisty Dani (Juno Temple) is thrown into the mix, Nick’s non-endearing weirdness is pushed to some crazy ends.

Harrington co-stars opposite Shemar Moore on CBS’ S.W.A.T. reboot, premiering this fall. His previous TV credits include Better Off Ted, The Division, Private Practice and Code Black.

To date, The Flash has utilized no shortage of villains culled from the comic books, which is quite understandable when you take the Scarlet Speedster’s impressive rogues gallery into account. While we’ve seen more well known knaves such as Captain Cold, Mirror Master and the Reverse-Flash give the S.T.A.R. Labs crew headaches, there have also been more obscure baddies featured like Girder and Magenta. And, as you could probably gather from the headline, the latest addition to the enduring television saga falls in with the latter.

As it so happens, Sugar Lyn Beard (Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates) has been cast in the role of Hazard/Rebecca Sharpe, who is described as being “perpetually down-on her luck and is convinced her life is cursed — until a freak accident changes everything. With the universe on her side, she poses a threat to both Team Flash and Central City.

According to VancouverFilm.Net, Season 4 of "The Flash" will showcase the live-action debut of DC Comic's metahuman 'Rebecca Sharpe' aka 'Hazard', played by actress Sugar Lyn Beard:

"...'Rebecca Sharpe' perpetually down-on her luck, is convinced her life is cursed... 

"...until a freak accident changes everything.

"With the universe on her side, she poses a threat to both 'Team Flash' and 'Central City'."

Created by Roy Thomas, debuting in DC Comics' "Infinity Inc." #34, Hazard has 'psionic' powers she uses in conjunction with special dice to influence probability.

She can cause good luck or harmful 'accidents' to befall someone. The origin of her powers, nature of her dice, and the relationship between them are unknown. In addition, she keeps herself in good physical condition.

Other DC characters appearing in "the Flash" Season 4 include 'The Elongated Man' (Hartley Sawyer), 'The Thinker' (Neil Sandilands), 'The Mechanic' (Kim Engelbrecht) and 'Breacher' (Danny Trejo).

The Disaster Artist begins with a talking head segment that praises The Room (Kevin Smith/J.J. Abrams, Adam Scott), anointing its decade-defying relevance as nothing short of deserved. Audiences are, by now, used to the R-rated gross-out comedies that feature man-child characters getting into ridiculous, often moronic, situations. It’s a genre that was once box office gold, blending shocking and outrageous scenes with surprisingly sweet sentiment. However Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates takes the concept one step further, fighting for male/female equality through cinema, with not only male characters acting stupid and outrageous, but also the ladies of the cast. Yes, this is an “equal opportunites idiot” movie!

The film follows the titular Mike and Dave, two fun-loving (and, honestly, idiotic) brothers who tend to get out of control at family gatherings.

Bradley Cooper and his model-girlfriend Irina Shayk spent the weekend listening to rock legends alongside a group of friends that included Woody Harrelson and Emma Stone.

Never mind the trailers - not even the title of Mike & Dave Need Wedding Dates is representative of the movie to which it has been assigned. A better title would have been Wedding Crashers, which could be why the 2005 movie of the same name comes in for so much flak for its ridiculousness during one of the big scenes. Either way, you're not prepared for how Anna Kendrick and Aubrey Plaza play for top billing from the very first moment they appear.

To be clear: Mike (Adam Devine) and Dave (Zac Efron) most definitely need wedding dates. Tired of their thoughtless partying ruining family get-togethers, the two brothers' long-suffering parents (Stephen Root and Stephanie Faracy) decree that they must find themselves a pair of nice girls to bring to their sister's wedding in Hawaii.
