Bachman-Turner Overdrive's record "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet" was a novelty record--they recorded it with a deliberate stammer as a joke. Turned out to be one of the best selling records of all time.

His surname is pronounced "Back-man." Since he knew radio DJs wouldn't pronounce the name correctly, he has accepted that the name in his band Bachman-Turner Overdrive is pronounced "Bach-man".
