On the heels of opening weekend for Jennifer Kaytin Robinson’s I Know What You Did Last Summer, which sees Hewitt reprise the role of Julie James after nearly three decades since originating it, the actress grabbed a seat opposite Tommy Didario on his I’ve Never Said This Before podcast. It was there that she came up with and spitballed her plans for a one-of-a-kind event that would see 9-1-1 pay homage to the iconic slasher franchise.

During the pair’s chat, the star of the beloved ABC procedural was musing about what might happen to her character — 911 dispatcher Maddie Han — in upcoming episodes when she struck gold with a killer idea:

Real-life married couple Alison Brie and Dave Franco went on “Hot Ones Versus” to promote their upcoming body horror film, “Together.” On the show, the married pair learned there are some things they still don’t know about each other.

On the “Hot Ones” spin-off, the couple asked each other a series of pre-written questions. If they got one wrong or refused to answer, they had to eat a spicy wing as a penalty. During the second round of questions, Franco asked Brie who his first childhood celebrity crush was.

Brie wasn’t happy with Franco’s response — though not in the way you might think.

“I’m sorry, no!” Brie exclaimed. “Helen Mirren was your first childhood crush? From what?”

“From being gorgeous?” Franco replied.

Franco initially wrote down Jennifer Love Hewitt on his board — an actress only six years his senior, as opposed to Mirren’s 40. Brie insisted this was the true answer.

The Cosby Show star Malcolm-Jamal Warner has tragically died at 54 after drowning in Costa Rica.

His cause of death was confirmed as “asphyxia by submersion” according to local authorities. The TV star was swept away by a current, according to a statement released by the Costa Rican Judicial Investigation Agency.

“The man was rescued by bystanders and taken to shore, where he received treatment from the Costa Rican Red Cross. However, he was declared lifeless at the scene,” according to the Oij.

Warner was on vacation with his family at the time of his death.

Blumhouse and Universal Pictures recently had to suffer the misfire that was "M3GAN 2.0," which isn't going to make a third of what the original "M3GAN" did. But while it's not nearly as bad in the early going for Sony Pictures, the studio's "I Know What You Did Last Summer" legacy sequel opened in theaters over the weekend and, sad to say, it fell pretty far short of expectations as well.
